Has anyone ever done a signing with Hirenotary out of San Franciso, CA, I registered and paid them, I did so in September, I realize that this is no so long ago, but I tried to touch basis with them and I am not getting a response. First I contacted them by messaging, then by phone, I did leave a message but to no avail, I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them?
I’m a bit confused, “you registered and paid them”!?!? You paid them, what?
Is that some kind of loan signing education, sort of thing!? … please excuse me, but you’ll have to be more specific.
Yes, I have registered with them and paid them. I have not had a signing that has come from them(referred by them). I have tried to start adding different platforms to see if the free ones are good or if I get better jobs on the paid site. SMH…the free ones is where I get most of them. I know that site guarantees $175+, but I have not seen that yet. If you don’t mind me asking, what were you trying to reach them for?
Late to the party, but she paid them $48.00. I know, because I also got duped by them. They promise to refund the fee if you don’t receive any signing offers within a specified period of time, I believe it was 90 days, but when of course I didn’t, it had been so long, and I had signed up with so many other companies, I couldn’t recall which one had made that promise. It also didn’t help that they NEVER once put that guarantee in writing. The only reason I recall them now, is the $48.00 odd number, and in puling out receipts for taxes this year, I ran across my receipt for it. It is very definitely a scam. No if’s, ands or buts, but as a new LSA, I didn’t know any better. Live and learn, and then file a report with your State DA’s office.
Sorry to hear about your experience @notary_dcook and I can’t help to ask why these kind of business or whatever it’s called, do exist!? They’re only signing agents blood S***** nothing else they offer!
Notary_dcook,
I don’t know why I didn’t think this one through before I paid them, but I tried to contact them by phone and message and no answer, so I contacted the Attorney General in my state, do see what can be done, they can’t make them refund me but I wanted to let them know that we are on to them, I have heard a response from the AG yet.
tbeckgarrett13, I contacted the attorney general in my state, I had to provide them with the company information, the payment date and proof of purchase. I was able to get my money back, it took 2-3 months, but I got it back. I tried to contact Hire Notary 2-3 times, when they didn’t respond the first time, I knew I had made a mistake, anyway, I am sure they count on you not pursuing them, I say go for it and get your money back.
Notary_dcook, contact your attorney general in your state, I did and I got my money back, it took 2-3 months but I succeeded.
You all might want to consider contacting the AG for the state where they’re located too -
I had an issue with a listing service several years ago - at signup terms were auto-renewal unless you let them know your wish to cancel your listing in writing within a certain period in advance - I did that and they still processed the renewal. So, after several attempts to contact them with no response, I contacted the AG in that state - ltr to AG with cc to company - got my money back
