@silvernail.christine Hi, Christine. I don’t know if it’s the best, but you are welcome to this one. If I must send an invoice to get paid for a loan signing, I send it out the same day the signing took place. If it is for a larger signing service, I also ask when they hire me if they require me to send a W9 in order to pay me. And I’ll include that as well.
You are welcome to adopt/adapt to suit you – adding as much or as little detail as you need.
For me, I want an invoice to show Who, What, Where, When, & How. I include my business contact info, the hiring company’s contact info, the order number/assignment details, the rate what we agreed on, when payment is due, and how to pay me.
And of course I always say THANK YOU. ![]()
