i have been using generic and the left side of the page is faded. Have you had that problem? Also, one company made me resign because they said the ink was dusty and i found that to be true.

I returned 2 boxes of generic ones I bought because it’s doing the same thing, come to find out it was the drum that I have to change. So, now everything is good. Try changing the drum. I hope it helps!

Sunshine is ok to work with. You typically have to respond back with an offer if you don’t like their offer.

Could you advise how do you register with Amrock as an NSA?

Go to their website, but I’m not sure how many signing notarizations you would need to complete before signing up with them. Download their application forms. They’re pretty fast answering

Thanks, I just called. They said I must be registered with NNA for 1 year prior to signing up with them

I’ve been a notary for over 5 years, and member of NNA since that time as well. I didn’t know that was a requirement, but always suspected so. Some ppl say that is not relevant to be NNA member, but I have always seen that 95% of lenders, escrows, title companies and signing services the first thing they ask is “if you’re enrolled with the NNA”… so, if you’re not, I suggest you to pay membership with them. They keep all your credentials in record, and forward them to the aforesaid institutions.

I have never had a problem with Sunshine and payment. They have always paid within 30 days or so.

I usually counter if the fee is low. They will usually meet my fee. Sometimes, we continue our negotiations over the phone after I send my initial counter.

I got text messages from a company called Shadow Notaries today. I can’t find anything about them. Are they operating in the shadows? When I asked them how many pages, they told me they didn’t have that information. I told them they need to be aware that if I am required to provide a borrower copy, and the total page count exceeds 300 pages, I have a $25 print fee. They quit texting me after that.

I got a generic (Uniwork) from Amazon after it was recommended by other notaries for my brother MFC L5700DW. I can’t say I love it because it splatters tiny inks dots on the documents. I won’t be buying it again, I’ll try something else next time.

Who do you email to regarding the late payment for first class signing services? I have late payment issues with first class. Thanks!

How many pages does it yield- print?

A lot of lenders require/prefer notaries to be NNA Certified NSAs, yes.

Your Background Screened Certification through NNA makes you qualified NSA and includes your Signing Agent listing profile and NNA Certification Link which is shared/forwarded to institutions. Requalification/Background Screening is required annually.

However, NNA Membership is totally separate and a separate fee if you so choose to be a member.

I wish I could add to the conversation… But I’m still looking to get paid from the 2 signing I did complete. Looking to get my 100 signing completed to even have data to share. But thank you for helping.

I would like to sign up with WFG. I went to the website, but it’s not clear how you become a signing agent with them. Any tips from those that are already working with them? I’m in Washington State.

BNN is great!!
you have to speak another language to register

I went to their website and they just sent me to SnapDocs

You can’t really, because most jobs do NOT have docs ready when you are being asked to cover. You can ask the person who calls you, if someone does, otherwise, it seems mostly to be a crapshoot on package size, which is a very good reason to not accept low-ball fees.
