Can anyone tell me anything about NotaryGo?

I work majority with Notary go… usually take signings close to home… they are straight forward easy sigings…
pay once a month like click work…
In my opinion they are one of the best signing co out there

I’ve done fifteen signings for them this year. Some things I have learned:

  • I rarely accept their initial offer. $60 for a refi is ridiculous. If they don’t accept my counter offer, I will wait for another notary service to call me about the same deal. (I’m a relatively remote area, so we don’t have notaries tripping over each other.)

  • They pay the first of the 2nd following month. So, the signing I did August 1st was paid October 2nd. However, they have recently switched to issuing e-checks, so this may be changing. They have paid me for 13 of the 15 signings I’ve coimpleted, in an average of 52 days.

  • You have to check in when you arrive, and call before you leave the signing. They usually require faxbacks.

  • When they have a signing opportunity, they send it thru their app, they text, and then they call.

  • My signings for them have mostly been Loan Depot refinances, with some structured settlement deals sprinkled in . I haven’t figured out why they tell me that they only get $100 from LD, and can’t pay me more than $60, when I’ve have several other services offer me over $100 for LD loans.

  • Their refinances tend to be larger than usual, ranging from 290-340 printed pages (counts both sets). Price accordingly.

Lowballers!!! I get 125 for LD loans, no faxbacks!

Yes, If you work for them, you will wait up to 90 days to be paid. They offer insulting low rates, lie to you (we can’t offer more, because that’s all the lender will pay… how stupid do they think we are?), and are so far from one of the best that I can only assume anyone who thinks they are is the most naive of newbies. They contract with subprime lenders, so the packages are huge. You will end up sitting in some of the worst neighborhoods in town hoping you remembered to put your pepper spray back in your briefcase, and that your tires will still be on your car when you get done.

There’s no reason that has to happen, since you have full choice over which jobs you accept. This is true for all signing services, not just Notary Go. If I see a zip code that is not in what I consider a “good” area, I just pass on it. But that’s beside the point. I won’t take a job from Notary Go because their fee offers are insultingly low and will end up costing you money, not making you money.

I only do signings for them when they call, never from their text messages because I get more $$ that way. Also they are one of the slower paying companies out there.

According to what I’ve read, they have not paid an awful of lot of notaries out there. Check at Notary Rotary and other notary forums. I GO GO the other way when I see their name.

Notary Go is great for newbies! I loved working with them when I first started. However, I terminated them from my customer list. They expect you to report back to them 12 times for 1 signing. We are Notaries, not Paramedics! I am not one to offer a “play by play” of every moment of an appointment. The assignments are easy and usually take 20 minutes or so. However, spending 30 minutes reporting back and forth is unnecessary is a not a profitable use of my time. And the pay is very low. Otherwise, go for it!

I am a newbie and have done 3 signings for them. I am on every website possible, yet they are the only ones who contact me. Did great on my 1st signing, but on my 2nd I missed some things. The package was 200 pages and took over an hour with the brr. I accepted with a larger fee because the signing was 1.5 hours away. Mistake!! I wanted to do it for experience, but regret it. They never told me what I messed up on, but they won’t pay me for that job, and now I no longer get notifications for singings. My 3rd signing was thru notary Go, but it was already scheduled before I made my mistake on the other loan, so they went ahead and let me keep it. But for 3.5 of time and work, I get no pay. Not happy!

Hi, where do you suggest to sign up for loan signings? Im not receiving notifications from anyone other than notarygo

Don’t accept their low pay! After your personal expenses and time, you’ll make next to nothing. Know your worth. I’ve band, blocked them.
