Have had a local order canceled four times due to unavailable documents.
I think it’s the last time I’ll be accepting this order. Anyone else seeing cancelations for PennyMac?
Not sure what’s going on, but I’m not going to tie up my calendar again.
Even though the borrower now texts me all the time to see if I have availability. I don’t have the heart to tell him I won’t be accepting the order again.
Haven’t had that happen to me. However, you’re absolutely right. Don’t tie up your calendar with that type of issue.
Did you speak directly to title to find out what the problem is? How many days did this tie up?
I worked around it. The first time the borrower wasn’t happy and canceled. The 2nd time I had no docs and said o couldn’t wait on them and did something else and then they canceled. The 3rd time canceled the day before. This time the borrower texted and asked if I had been canceled and then I got a cancel notice.
Weird now it’s back on. Geez.
Oh finished this but MAN. They had the 1003 wrong listing the signers as married. Not married.
The lady was furious, called the loan officer and read him a riot act because apparently this had canceled multiple times because of paperwork errors, marital status being one and she told him she wasn’t signing anything else until he got it right because he stumbled over his words when she indicated they were changing the marital status on her application and he would let her know if underwriting still approved the loan. She was so mad.
I showed her the closing worksheet that had them listed as single and showed her the Deed of Trust that listed them both as single, so she signed the rest of the documents but wow.
And she read everything because she said they had put fees into the last package that were not agreed on and she had to check. Took too long but I was sure glad to get out of there.
So a new 1003 was sent to me, and another fee to go get it signed. All in all that went okay. But lordee.
So last night I finally got this done. And the gal goes so they called and said the reason the 1003 was wrong was because you brought the wrong paperwork. And then she says and I know that’s b&&sh** because this form clearly says printed April 15 so they lied and I haven’t decided if I’m going to cancel yet because why would I take a loan from people who are liars.
Then I get the confirmation from Townsgate for last night’s trip and it’s the same order number as the previous trip and I question it because their system doesn’t let you invoice two things on one order number.
I have a feeling I’m not over being irritated by this order.
