Hello,
Has anyone do any loan modifications for CloseClear lately?
Hello,
Has anyone do any loan modifications for CloseClear lately?
No. Have not even heard of this co. What platform do they use?
Hi, it’s the same company as a360
@TX_Roxie Their fees for Loan Modifications + Scans are unreasonably low . . . that is, it’s NOT a livable wage.
Plus, their payment interval is at a minimum 35+ calendar days.
In addition, one must often provide payment “ticklers” due to their Accounting System “forgetting” to disburse timely payments. ![]()
That’s a LONG time to wait for compensation of the out-of-pockets expenses that are incurred for a signing appointment & for those bills that come due in 20-25 day (or less). In other words, we’re providing an Interest-Free loan to them . . .

All I receive are emails requesting me to upgrade my service. Never had an offer. Will probably remove my listing.
I do several a week for them but never for the low fees they post. I miss out on a lot of business from them as likely newer notaries are accepting their lower pay offers. They very consistently take about 4 to 5 weeks to pay.
They generally offer low payments. I always reply with higher fees so I don’t get the orders. IMHO it’s their loss.
Mirrors my direct experience with a360inc/ExpressNotary/CloseClear, PLUS, the scheduler (when calling to fill their Signing Orders [SOs]) will issue a barrage of questions about your professional fee & that “others” accept their offers for much less.
========>>>>>>>> The fees within their APP [$30 or $40], in general, simply do not cover the cost of gasoline - let alone our time, toner, paper, professional certification & background expenses, insurance, vehicle maintenance, etc.
As each business owner determines the cost to provide their professional services, it’s uncouth, offensive, & takes quite a bit of gall for their schedulers to speak as condescendingly as they do . . .
He said that others in my region “gladly accept” their SOs at the fees within the blast offers via their APP. He then went on to state: "makes it hard for him to fill the SOs, because the schedules for those Signing Agents [SAs] accepting their (lowball) SOs fill up quickly." He then went on to bemoan that he then must call those of us who have living wage fees. WOW! It was shocking & had the opposite effect upon me that he was hoping for . . .
He did send me the order for fulfillment.
NOTE: When the title company communicates with me directly about the successfully completed SOs, they always express that they simply LOVE receiving my packages, because they know the beautiful, professional work that I provide with the Borrowers [BOs]. In addition, the BOs have shared with the title company how much they valued the services I provided.
.
.
I concur

Recently I have received a lot of requests from them. I was able to negotiate higher acceptable fees on one order but my concern is that I really don’t know “who” I am working for. Who exactly is Close Clear? Is it a signing forum just for Express Notary or is it a separate company? Every order request I see that comes through has different information but always says “Powered by @360”. but the phone number associated is one I have saved or Express Notary. It is very confusing. I wish they were more transparent.
Couple days ago I accepted & completed one for Express Notary, with whom I’ve had a few random jobs since 2005. Nothing in 2023 or until 12/2024. How closeclear is affiliated, I dunno. Confusing site. I scanned completed order to Express as instructions indicated. Thought I was done. Two days later, closeclear wants to know if it’s done.
Yes, it 's very confusing. At some point I may call and ask for some information on being more transparent
