I’m a newbie and I accept them just to get the experience. but at some point I will begin to counter or not accept the order. I’m learning through networking this is the lowest paying company. I’m glad I saw this thread.

They offered $100 on a Loan Modification. I accepted. Then signer said they don’t nee the modification any longer and cancelled appointment.

I get one of these a day. $30 is shameful. And they do not respond to any counter offer. I think they rely on lowballing, knowing that someone will respond. But by the time you were done with the work assignment you may not even be earning minimum wage. $30 is ridiculous.

I don’t know if Lisa is still owner of C2C, but she is nasty. She called me one time and asked a question. All I can remember of that call is that she hung up on me and after that, I didn’t rec’v assignments.
I didn’t mind because I got on-the-job training from them. Now I’m getting requests again but they are really low pay.
I won’t bother with them until the first offer is a good price. I don’t waste my time bidding for more money.

I’m happy with C2C also. I haven’t had the bad experiences others are talking about, I will continue to work for them.

I also get these…almost daily. Most of them are not just 2-3 miles away. More like 15-30. My time, the traffic, my toner & paper…no thanks! I don’t care where I am on their list - in the slightest. I should really just unsubscribe.

I just did one for them for $165…it was proposed $75 and I countered.
I am located in CA. The regular mobile notaries here already charge $50 to come to your place and notarize a vanilla acknowledgement. so why $55 to print so many pages and hours invested? Not worth it.

Also my friend who works directly with local titles/escrows gets paid even more, often times >$200/loan. We need to maintain a certain price level to keep the system healthy.

Sign up for more platforms, so you have more places to go to and not at the mercy of them giving you an offer. Do not let these companies take advantage of you. Good luck !

I have done some for them. They are trying to not pay by saying I didn’t get all signatures on a loan modification. It had only one signer and I confirmed it with the signer. Do not work with these unethical people!

I’m trying to figure out how, all of a sudden, I’m getting texts for loan mods and the so-called “partial claims” from them… I have never worked for C2C or SoCal signings, never signed up with them AND never signed up on snapdocs

C2C, if you want me to do these for you my fee is $85 within my County…outside my county is an extra $25, no scan backs, same day drop. And the fee is that low only because I see scheduling is left up to the notary to be done within one week

Same thing happened to me. I texted back with an “LOL” to their insulting $30 “offer.” Followed it up very quickly with an “UNSUBSCRIBE.”

Don’t waste your time with bottom feeders!

Very smart for a newbie to figure out threshold for profit. This is not taught in any classes to become a Notary Signing Agent. I have actually broke up my territories by zip code, calculated my costs (including PPE) and determine my fees by zip code. Very firm that I don’t care how few pages are involved that is my set fee. Never fall for that line that it is only 10 to 30 pages. I get the signings at me set fee (and not a low ball fee). I tell the Notary contracting company they are paying for my experience and time. You don’t have to share how many signings you have completed unless asked.

Curious… When working with C2C, do you need to invoice them or do they just send you a check?

fee is too low and they are VERY SLOW paying. I will not do any more for them

I love that strategy! Paying for my experience and time…that’s empowering. I appreciate your words of wisdom and nuggets of direction. It’s hard enough trying to remember all that you’ve been trained on and then trying to navigate these signing agencies is overwhelming. It’s helpful to know how others have dealt with and responded to their low ball offers. “You don’t know…unless you know…and you don’t know…unless you ask!!!”

Dump them and NotaryGo like a hot rock, you will be better off for it.
