Coast2CCoast has got to be the worst deadbeat SS out there. I worked for them in December 2025. They have not paid me despite sending emails and demand letters. I also reported them to Snapdocs, the BBB and my state district court. I have blocked them and will never work for them again. Cloud signings is just as bad. I would not recommend anyone work for this SS.
They are excruciatingly slow. I do eventually get paid.
They have gotten worse and worse in their payment timing. I am just sick of having to fight for payment. I am concerned that they are no longer financially viable.
But why continue working for someone who takes forever to pay or who you have to fight with to get paid. Those are all signs that eventually you will stop getting paid. There are better companies out there . Multiple people have complained about these companies!
This is exactly why we vet the hiring company PRIOR to performing any work for them. Research them. If the reviews are bad, you’re not special. You’ll be treated the same way as those who went before you – low/slow/no payment. Not all offers are good offers … regardless of the amount of pay offered.
Agreed. My last job (and it will be my last) took 90 days to get paid. My theory is that if a signing service (which gets paid on closing) doesn’t have the cash flow to pay in 30 days, they are using your money as a loan to operate their business. Giant red flag!
There is no excuse for any signing service to take more than 30 days to pay. They want us to turn on a dime to do their last-minute signings, but then they think it’s okay to take 90 days to pay us, if they pay at all. Well, it’s definitely NOT okay!
How did you go about blocking them?
Write them a brief note explaining that you don’t want them to send you offers any longer. I did that and got a call from their rep who wanted to know more. I told him my reasons and they stopped sending me orders the next day. FWIW.
Thank you for the info. Coast2Coast sends me texts daily for signings that I ALWAYS counter because they pay very low. I’ve been thinking to stop responding at all but I go back and forth with should I or shouldn’t I. Now that I’ve read this post and the comments, I’ll cease responding until such time (if ever) as they get it together.
It took me time to figure this out after being added as the preferred notary in Southern Oregon, and yet I don’t get the first calls or auto assigned for any signings, and they always start the pay at $75. I used to accept right away but when I started to read other frustrations on forums like this, I therefore started to counter every offer, and I rarely get it, because someone else in my area accepts the $75. Secondly, I too wasn’t getting paid on time and started to email invoices and then I was informed to text the accounting info on each signing and then started to receive checks. The only thing I have an issue with is that their offer is way too low for signings and I’m obviously not the preferred notary since I’m not receiving these prior. I moved on and I keep countering the low-ball offers but never get them.![]()
