Ok, I’m not trying to be hateful but first and foremost…it’s called the paperwork reduction act. NEXT and most importantly, if you were using a good data base of thorough, trained notaries who do not take the lowball offers you might not need 30 pages of repetitive instructions. I took this job because it’s actually close but I’m already regretting getting involved. Close today and will seriously rethink before accepting orders from C2C again. The young lady that contacted me was very nice and seemed great to work with but that’s not the bottom line.
You aren’t required to print out their directions. You can just open and scan to make sure there’s nothing there to take you by surprise. Coast to Coast is actually pretty supportive of notaries and hires new notaries when a lot of services do not. Reading directions comes with all orders.
I’m in agreement with you. I’ve worked with Coast to Coast and actually was a very good company to work with.
Please specify which company you’re posting about. There are many companies with similar names.

Yes……they do have a checklist of ALL the items a notary needs to be aware of, for ALL the companies they sign for……looking at it, my eyes feel like its looking at poster full of mazes!!! As someone mention here, you do NOT need to print. Its great for new notaries the massive list of things to be aware…..but if you know what to do….then you know! You must be prepared though….your pay will come in 3 or four months!!….but they do pay. lol
I’m fairly new to the S/A side of the mobile notary industry. I’m extremely surprised that the signing services take so long to pay. They essentially get paid immediately after the closing and the signing company takes 30, 60, 90 days to pay the notary? I’m having a hard time with that. I can live with 30-45 days 60-90, seems unreasonable.
The signings I’ve done for Coast2Coast were via Snapdocs. I’ve not sure if someone can sign up DIRECTLY with Coast2Coast, maybe the pay cycle would be faster. But through Snapdocs, it does take time. I’ve seen other postings on here that relay the same history. I remember getting a check in February this year…..for a signing I did last October, 2 signings in November and one for December!! Got paid for all four in February!! So IF I do a signing for them, then I’m probably having a slow month/day….but they do pay.
Such as it is. I always got paid by them, but their pay is so low that it’s not even worth it for me to counter their offers.
Not printing it doesn’t need to be said but just being overwhelmed with junk was ridiculous. I felt like I was in notary school. It was as if are they hiring notaries or training them? I was overwhelmed because of the time crunch for the day. I squeezed them in my normal routine. I will say, new notaries should access their data at least once (everything you need to know in one spot). This pay situation everyone talks of…I agree with you, not high enough to bother with. Personally I’m not out here to do signing agencies “favors” so they can make their money. My regulars pay me the first of the month. And before this forum jumps, I’m glad the young lady is nice but that doesn’t pay the bills.
