Creative Signings being a bit pedantic here, methinks

This is the error message I got from their QC on the signing I dod for them yesterday

“Printed name for the notary needs to be corrected (PLEASE, use instructions attached on how to correct) Middle name initial has a period that is not on the seal.

Printed name and seal have to be an exact match”.

I’ve worked with them on timeshare closings a number of times. I know they are nitpicky as it gets, but of all things to make a federal case about, this just blows my mind even for them! What is the end game here really?

These are legal documents that have to be correct.

Notary error (alarm bells ringing)! That’s one of those “slam dunk” discoveries that we carry a Notary Bond for.

Shall I call my carrier at once? :joy:

I think there is a hyphen missing in “end game”. :face_with_monocle:

I think this service and many services have become very precise with correcting error instructions. Because when you pay cheap fees, you get newer notaries and more mistakes.

It’s not a personal declaration against a notary it’s just a can we get it exactly right this time. How unpendantic should they be with a notary who prints their own name wrong? JMO.

Notary error, that’s all that expensive E&O policy covers. Little things like not crossing out the (s) on a jurat certificate will trigger a rejection and a letter from the county clerk.
