Docs2Go - Scam no payment

I completed 7 medical proof of service drops (same day) with an agreed payment. It’s been 60 days since I completed the assignment. I called multiple times and finally spoke with someone who said payment would be initiated same or next day. I even gave this company my banking info via ACH. They have yet to pay and now, no answer.

I know Keith Steward is the owner, located in Orlando, FL. DO NOT TAKE ASSIGNMENTS FROM THIS COMPANY. DEADBEAT SCAMMERS.

UPDATE: Docs2Go finally paid the Order. However, I will refrain from taking orders from this company again.

@notary54 Congratulations on your success! :tada:

It’s quite shameful on their part that you had to stringently chase down payment for your professional services successfully provided . . .

Concur :100: percent with your Plan of Action regarding this business entity for the future (rejection of any potential Signing Orders [SOs]).

Sharing of your direct experience should prove quite beneficial to other Notary Cafe members. Thank You

Ugh I did a job for them in NOVEMBER under the terms net 45. It is now mid March & the are STILL giving me the run around saying they have not gotten paid so they can’t pay me… BS I gut hired I did the job pay me!! Do NOT work with this horrible company as they will NOT pay you.

I’m sorry you didn’t get paid. I received an email indicating late payment (blah blah blah). Continue to stay on top of it as we do a service and expect to get paid.

@FeliciaNM505 Thank you for sharing your direct experience.

Wondering if you were able to Research the immediately available information found within the Notary Cafe database on this business entity, prior to accepting this Signing Order [SO] from them.

The common theme that is woven through posts from professional signing agents [PSAs]/business owners who accepted a SO from the deadbeat Signing Services [SSs] listed throughout the Notary Cafe forum & database is that they tell a believable story . . .

FOR EXAMPLE ===>>> “We’ve recovered completely now from (fill in the blank) and you’ll not have any trouble receiving payment if you’ll accept this SO.”

Sadly, the individual willing to extend credit to these longtime deadbeats is left holding the debt for the unpaid SOs.

As I often express ===>>> CAVEAT VENDITOR!

.
.

Just know that the information is a GOLDMINE!

There are a few members from time-to-time who come onto the Notary Cafe forum & harken that the longtime deadbeats are now reliable payers . . .

NO! It’s not true. They just haven’t been struck yet by the deadbeats. Once they’re 3 or 4 deep (or more) into it - the deadbeat will arise like a zombie & strike once again.

If you’re not familiar with how to Research the valuable database . . . see below.

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database.

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and the results show 6 separate threads (in addition to yours) WARNING about NON-PAYMENT with this particular business entity going back to November of 2024.

There is a plethora of data immediately available on the threads within Notary Cafe. :sparkles::tulip:

Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . . :crown:

Yes this would’ve been helpful, unfortunately I took the assignment before these posts going back to November 2024 were made. Thank you so much for the valuable information I appreciate you!

@FeliciaNM505 The Notary Cafe database is a proverbial goldmine of data for members.

Keep in mind that when you’re considering working for a business entity that is new to you . . . ALWAYS take a moment to Research the Notary Cafe database.

This business entity’s not-so-great reputation goes back quite a lonnnng time . . .

Here’s a thread from July of 2024:

FYI: Some will Accept the Signing Order [SO] & then Research the business entity (if they’re new to them).

If they discover a NON-PAYMENT or MOLASSES SLOW payment, they’ll return the SO with the reason why.

Hope this helps.
