I have my first appointment with an Estate planning attorney. Her Office is only 30 mins from my house To notarize a POA, A Pour-over will and Healthcare documents. How would I rate this? If she agree to give me consistent work at her office notarizing I was thinking of charging her 100.00 flat rate but if she want me to do Mobile Notary I was thinking 125 plus anything over 15 miles I will add 25.00 up 25 miles and 25-40 a 40.00. I am thinking of using my embosser on her power of attorney and the will with the gold seal to make it look very professional. Do anyone have any other suggestions or any ideas that can help me when I go into this meeting with her tomorrow it’s my first appointment within an attorney. I met her at an event that she was hosting.

If you’re going to her office for the notarizations, you’re probably stuck with your state-mandated fees. But if you’re carrying documents to her client, you should negotiate your fee for the house call along with the mandated signature fee. Usually, you carry the signed documents back to the attorney’s office, so you should be compensated for the round trip.
