Beware Five Star Notary! Am now at 66 days unpaid on a refi from Dec 12th. I have tried to reach out multiple times and only reply was to ask me if I have zelle last Tuesday. Crickets since!!
If I get paid, I will update.

Well, if your bank supports Zelle, payment is nearly instantaneous and FREE.
Thank you, yes, I have received Zelle deposits many times.
Just letting fellow notaries that I provided my zelle info over a week ago now with no follow up and no Zelle deposit from Five Star Notary.
67 days unpaid now. Beware

Let TC involved know about this stall tactic. Non-payment by SS reflects on them, too.
I’m having the same problem with Five Star on a signing from 11.01.2025. I’ve sent invoices, called… they respond asking for Venmo, Zelle or PayPal but, that’s all that happens after supplying the info. I’ve given them the same info more than once - they never call back just send me an email.
I’m at wits end and won’t give up until I’m paid.

I still hadn’t been paid on Tuesday afternoon so I sent Five Star an email stating clearly that, if not paid by the morning, I would be emailing title and signingorder to inform them about my experience and lack of payment for 75 days.
Within 30 minutes they sent a zelle for the full amount. Really a shame I had to threaten to turn them in to get a reply/payment.
Kathy I highly recommend the same tactic.
Thank you for posting this! I also was having issues with obtaining payment and after texting them this forum link. I was able to receive my money.
I contacted Five Star again and for the 3rd time they sent my invoice to accounting for payment. Hopefully, I will finally get paid for my 11.1.25 signing. I have an email prepared to send to title and signing order - if I don’t have funds in 7 days.
