Has anyone gotten work from this site?

I’m not trying to be a jerk, but I’ve been a paying member of this site for 4 months or so, and have never received a job lead or request. Looks like a waste of money…thoughts…

FYI: Notary Café is a Notary Directory & Forum, NOT a Job Board.

Although, a member may from time-to-time receive a Referral; that is not the goal nor aim of Notary Café.

Hi Jennifer, when I do a notary search for “48167” you are the first in the search results. I am in Olympia, WA and I receive many calls from people who say they found me by searching on NotaryCafe Notary Cafe | Find a Notary. cNsa5 is right – this isn’t exactly a job board, but it has paid off for me. Maybe give it a bit more time? I wish you good luck.

p.s. While it is not a job board, per se, the purpose of this NotaryCafe.com is to connect notaries with the people who need them. Keep at it! Notary Cafe | About Us

Also Jennifer, I noticed your NotaryCafe profile only shows 92% complete. So I would recommend completing your profile to 100% and including billing address. Also, maybe see what the industry recommendation is for signing agent E&O insurance. 100k is what many hiring companies expect. Cheers. ~Carmen

Notary Cafe isn’t a job board but it IS a platform, in a way; there are several companies who use this site to find notaries - you’d have noticed it if you go to sign up with a company and a page pops up asking “do you have a profile on Notary Cafe?” - answer yes and all your info is automatically provided to that company and your signup is done.

As far as I know there is no list of which companies use this site now, keep in mind this is my understanding but it’s been a few years since I signed up with any companies - if this changed with the upgrade to the website, then hopefully @NC_Mike or @NC_James will chime in and correct me.

Regarding your Notary Cafe Profile completion status, here is the direct guidance from NC_Mike:

"The completion percentage is a simple character count of the text on your profile, weighted heavily toward the Introduction and Experience section. You can increase this number by adding more information to this section (as well as filling in as much of the other sections as well).

Thanks,

NC_Mike"

Here is the url link to the page I found this on: Notary Cafe

Best wishes! :blush::tulip:

We have been a member for a year this month. I have received 1 signing from a Title Co.
With that said, I didn’t join this site to gain jobs. I joined for the info provided. There are years & years of experienced SA’s on this site, Their info is priceless. At $5 a month it’s the biggest BARGAIN around. Also, as stated earlier …you can contact a SS and they will ask if you are on Cafe and lo and behold we have you in our system. Be Blessed on your journey.

For what it is “worth”, I have only been a notary since May and I signed up for this site because I actually am a coffee snob and drink plenty of it, so it immediately intrigued me with the slogan, “a cup of coffee a day.” It has been worth every penny and I get jobs and calls often, from companies who say they found me on Notary Cafe’. Hope this helps you and good luck.

Jen, I feel like we are in the same boat. It has been about 2 months now paying pro membership fee and no assignment.

JenR,
I have been a member as of July 2021, and I don’t know if I have received any signings from this site.
But what I can say, is in the last 3 months I have learned so much from experienced notaries its worth the yearly fee I paid. What I like the most, is feed back you get with different views and opinions. Ive learned what I’m worth and not be afraid to ask for more, so far its working I have been busy.

No, I never have directly.

No, unfortunately I haven’t gotten not one signing with this company either…I’m available and ready…

Yes, many. Revise and take a 2nd look at your Profile.

Hi Karen, I see you have 25 years of experience. That is excellent! Have you considered expanding the counties you serve in Florida and increasing notary signing agent E&O coverage from $25k?

People treating people poorly….

No, an experienced Notary and Signing Agent stating the facts simply and concisely.

I have received work from companies who stated they found me here. They’ve also been ones to pay me more. Stick with it:)

yes but you have be carful, say they have a door knock and the person does not answer don’t go further to try come back and giver the paper because the company will not give the extra money they would for signing the paper when they say come back for second trip. that second trip is just for the singer if they forgot something they needed to add they you can talk to them and always be in contact because at the end they will say that you and them didn’t agree the that in first place or when you took the assignment. Also if you don’t know ask them even if it simple or compacted question.

That is my point. Paid for a premium listing, but I’m starting to think it’s for nothing.

I have enlisted with multiple signing company’s including title365 even paid for a few but no assignments/work orders. I am commissioned RON also but have yet to receive anything either has been about 4/5 months now, getting very frustrated. Notary cafe is only a directory though as a few more that I signed up with and paid for too… Doesnt seem to make much of any difference in your rating or jobs. They all seem to be a waste on $$
