I’m seeking help regarding some little squiggly lines which showed up on some docs I printed. I’ve done everything I can think of regarding changing settings on my printer, and I’m at a loss for ideas of what else to do. I have an almost new laser printer; Canon imageCLASS MF267dw. My last resort will be to call Canon, but I dread how long I’ll have to hold for help.
When I printed the docs for the one signing I’ve done (15 page loan modification), about halfway through, little squiggly lines started randomly printing on the pages. The lines were about an inch long, and very thin. They ranged from one to three per page. I printed multiple copies, but couldn’t get a complete set without the squiggly lines. Fortunately, they didn’t affect anything on the documents. After the signing, when I scanned the docs, the marks were barely visible, or not there. I’m concerned it could happen again, and possibly the marks could be darker.
Does anyone have any thoughts about what may cause stray marks to appear and how to prevent them? Thanks in advance for any help given.
