Has anyone worked for Hourglass Signings LLC? I am trying to get payment from November and they have been supposivedly sent payment to wrong address and reissued 2 weeks ago. I am starting to feel like this is a “the dog ate my homework excuse”
Hello, no I haven’t but did you get the order from Hourglass itself or what platform? Sometimes you have to involv the actual platform or maybe even reaching out to title as well.

Yes, it was a bit of a tug of war. They kept sending it to the wrong address. I asked for an echeck or ACH, but they used the US mail, and it kept getting lost! Finally, I did get the check. Thank you for asking and I would just monitor the payment.
Amy, thank you so much for your response, you are the best! do you know I reached out to them to ask for their specific payment terms, and they weren’t forthcoming- don’t have time for that, so that’s a hard pass for me!
You know after beating myself up and doing everything I could to build my business I now say”work smarter no harder”.
Trust me it will work best if you pick and choose your jobs, fees, location and pay schedules.
I only work for certain companies and fees. I try to minimize the ones that pay over 30 days. And I have a perimeter that I work within.
It elevates the stress and time of travel. Also if there is an issue I can get to it quicker. Also it offers me last minute jobs that pop up.
I learned as I went, but a lot have spent time researching.
I have also stopped working for companies that always have emergency jobs the “ help me, help me!” I don’t know if that’s there sales trick or they just have crummy clients.
Pick and choose your battles.we do have some say in our business practices even though they seem to give all the instructions.
We still retain the ability to pick and choose the jobs that we want. I have one company that I’ve done a lot of work for that always seems to have last-minute jobs. I can probably count on one hand the number of jobs I’ve gotten from them that weren’t “same-day”. That has to be a product of the title companies that they work with. Once in a while, it works with my schedule to do that, but most of the time it doesn’t, and I have to turn down the job offer. I would like to take more jobs from them but I can’t sit around waiting for them to call.
