How important is your mobile phone for your work

Not David…but… it depends upon your area. My WHOLE service area is really still (& for an undetermined amount of time going forward) ALL 4G. Phone might be 5G, but if there aren’t enough towers (or whatever makes it 5G), it’s still a 4G network. Google ‘coverage area map’ of your provider.

I cannot speak from any expertise here, but I got a 5G phone 2 months ago. There are times where the responsiveness is actually a bit worse,especially when away from metropolitan areas. For your question of getting texts and emails I would guess that those come through just as fast either way, because they are small. But 5G will help with downloads, video streaming, or when using the phone as a mobile Hotspot, etc.
