Hi, all! Newbie here.
So I’ve been taking signings part time for a couple months now. I’ve only been able to do 6 so far. I would have done far more based on the amount of offers I’ve gotten if so many weren’t so ridiculously far from my home! On average, I get offers for about an hour away from me, but they’ve gone as far as 3 1/2! Today, in fact, I took a job that was 2 hours away from me because they accepted my counter offer which I didn’t expect them to but I’m /very/ tired now after spending 4 hours on the road, just staring at a straight line.
I don’t mind the 1 hour drives so much but I KNOW there are many more signings happening a lot closer to me. Any idea what I’ve done to suggest to these signing companies that I want work that is hours away from me?
I’ve put my accurate address in all my profiles and set my travel range to 30 miles. Where applicable, I’ve set zip codes that I service to be all those that surround me, in a bubble.
I live in Omaha, Nebraska, if that helps.
