I have received several emails from the above company for signing services. When you click through it pops up as Notary Dash. How many spin off companies do they have? I will not work for Notary Dash, terrible payers!
I don’t remember what the other company was called, maybe “notable notaries”? Something like that. Anyway, I have worked for them, and it was OK. When they changed to Investor Bootz, however, their entire model changed. Now they want real estate photos and lock box installations. I signed up for one (I’m a real estate photographer in my other business). They wanted me to go to Home Depot and purchase the lockbox and let them pay me back for it. I told them “no,” as they didn’t pay quickly, and I didn’t want to be out $40-50. The owner/manager/guy I talked to told me that I was no longer a “preferred” notary because I wouldn’t do this for them. I cried myself to sleep that night. (/sarcasm)
There not spin off companies. They are just companies that use the platform just like snapdocs and signing order.
Does everyone on that platform have a slow payment history?
Notable Notaries was a slow payer. I was told it was because so many others needed to be paid, so be patient. I had to call owner both times to get paid. I’m not found of chasing my money. I would not have bought a lock box either. SMH
They absolutely refuse to pay unless/until they need you to do another signing. It is horrible.
That’s a job for a secret shopper not a notary
What is the owner’s number? If you don’t want to put it out, You can email me. mstrata

Thanks
No. Most companies on snapdocs have their terms listed on their profile. There are many that pay twice a month on that platform.
I’m sorry, I deleted it.
@mstrata FYI ===>>> You may have already seen it, but here is a separate thread that contains a multitude of data elements on that business entity:
Many of these assignments demand a lot for minimal compensation—and to add to that, payment is often significantly delayed. Some companies focus on hiring individuals accustomed to minimum wage roles, justifying their low rates by claiming they pay “more.” However, this overlooks a critical fact: notaries and home inspectors operate independent businesses.
We invest in professional-grade equipment—printers, scanners, computers, cameras, power sources—as well as training, insurance, and vehicle upkeep. This is not hourly work; it’s a specialized service with real operating costs.
As independent contractors, we deserve fair compensation. For that reason, I do not accept assignments that don’t meet a reasonable pay threshold especially when driving to remote locations.
I have taken just a few and will no longer accept, due to the reasons you mentioned.
Notary Dash is the platform. Multiple companies use it to hire notaries. There are a few that are slow pay on that site, Prestige Notaries pays net 37 business days which is over 60 calendar days usually. But I did a job from Notary Dash for BBS that paid in 21 days. So they are not ALL slow pay. I’ve learned to be selective about which ones I will accept.
Don’t mistake a platform for a company.
@zed298 Remember to look for the Option on that platform to “No Longer Receive Potential Orders” from a particular business entity that is sending the Low-Ball blast offers.
This will save time by avoiding the time loss/interruption of the Low-Ball offers & Slow/Non-Paying business entities.
This company is a joke. They also asked me to purchase a lock box, and they would reimburse me. After I refused one of the representatives got very aggressive with texting me in all capital letters stating he would give me a 1star rating as a Notary. I have been an NSA for 18 years and have never encountered such unprofessionalism in all of my experience.
So glad to see this thank you for sharing! I will tell them to kindly remove me!
