Utilizing a UV light can be instrumental in assisting you to validate IDs, depending upon the technology your State inserts into the ID.
Also, there is an ID Checking Guide (paperback) that’s issued each year for about $30 that reveals what to check for & examples of IDs for each State.
There’s also an International Version that’s about $50.
Plus, there’s a “holy grail” => US Identification Manual for about $250

Thank you!! I will definately invest in something like that. There was a situation in which
I wasn’t sure but I want to have something to else to use. Miletek doesn’t always work properly.

@jennjoneis If you decide to just try out the UV light option for starters, you can purchase the “pen” for about $10 (Amazon - see below). You can utilize the light for IDs & cash as well as the pen for checking counterfeit bills.

Yes, I also use a UV light. A plus with using these extra precautionary measures is the peace of mind it can give signers that you’re going the extra mile to prevent fraud.
