Mortgage Connect Signings

Have any of you worked with Mortgage Connect., they pay peanuts and wants all documents to be scanned after signing and wait to hear from them before you drop it off . They constantly threaten you. After signing is done you have to enter the job in their system to get paid. But they se to get a lot of signings. Their sight is unable to upload more than 25 gb so all have to be compressed. Sooo fed up., help

Don’t take anymore signings from them. I don’t like companies that do not communicate –then you tell me, communication is KEY and ESSENTIAL! Nope, it works both ways.:eyes:

I’ve worked with Mortgage Connect before, but I haven’t done any signings for them recently. Their current rates haven’t been a good fit for my fees list lately. Just a heads-up, you can always try to negotiate their fees. As for Mortgage Connect expectations, I saw this movie where someone said, “When the customer pays, they get to say.” We can all choose who we work with.

@eagleservices702 , It’s great that you performed error free assignments. Don’t let the fact that you are not getting any other signing orders hold you hostage, do something about that matter. You achieved becoming a Loan Signing Agent, that means you are capable to expand your services.

If we accept peanuts, we get peanuts. If our rate does not match what the hiring company is willing to pay, we have every right to counter. We are in business to stay in business. We are not doing this for our health – we all have bills to pay. And so if we cannot come to an agreement with the hiring company on the rate for a loan signing, it is not a good match and it is perfectly OK to politely decline and move on. It is is never personal, it’s just business. For us. For them. This goes for anyone who is calling us, texting us, or emailing us. Each of us is in full control of our business.

That’s what people tend to forget. We have control over who we want to work for and who we don’t. Concentrate on the companies who will treat you well and pay you well. They are out there.

I do several a month for them. I never accept the initial offer. I’m happy when they accept my counteroffer. They don’t threaten, the have auto reminders just like so many AI run platforms do.

Many platforms have a size restriction to scan backs. For one of their packages I’ll usually save 3 parts and save them reduced/optimized. I upload Part 1 of 3 part 2 of 3 etc.

I have a MC Invoice template saved to my desktop. When I am assigned an order I prepare the invoice, they say 72 hours after signing and that’s what they mean. So I put a reminder on my calendar to invoice x order on x day and it’s never a problem. They pay like clockwork. If you go in early on Day 3 the system does not accept your invoice so wait for the end of Day 3 or just send the invoice Day 4 to avoid the hassle. This is an excellent company. You have to counter the offers with the understanding it is a LOT of printing. Some of their closers email signer copies so you only have to print one package - it’s in a big box in the upper right if they do that.

Don’t get fed up. It’s just the system. I like getting a deposit every Friday from them. Why would I reject working for a company that deposits like clockwork? You just have to counter successfully.

Your thoughts and methods are encouraging. I’m sick of getting their weak offers but I haven’t made the effort to do better with them (counter-offers, calendaring invoices, etc.) I’m pretty busy and tend to get bogged down with the administrative stuff on my desk, so I’m gonna have to think it through if I want to work with MC. Seems like a lot of effort. I’ll keep y’all posted.

I took someone’s advice here for counter offering by making sure wifi was off. Then the link works fast enough you might get the order.

@johnsonps306 – I have a question regarding their invoicing procedure and you seem to be very familiar with them.

During pandemic lockdown, I worked with MC frequently (back when they’d meet my fees). Back then, I’d use their invoice template, fill it out and scan back to them. They finally agreed to my fee recently and I accommodated that file on 9/20th. You’re so right when you say we cannot submit an invoice until after 72 hours. This time, I noticed they have an electronic invoice option on their platform. I decided to go that route this time. After waiting 3 business days, I was finally able to submit my electronic invoice.

Now my question. Is that electronic invoice going to suffice to get my payment or should I also submit an invoice the “old” way? TIA for all your help!

Please disregard my question. I just looked on their platform and found on the “Payment History” where payment is scheduled for 10/3/2025. Electronic invoicing worked!

Works like a charm. I’ve never had a problem.

Well said, I say this all the time, we are in control. Never forget that.

What system do you send your invoice too? I did one recently for them and just sent an email with an invoice.

You use the portal and use the invoice template they provide and then upload it. You may not get paid if you submit your own invoice via email.

Thanks the order came through Snapdocs and they sent me a link to get signed up as a vendor, so I need to complete that.

I am signed up at their site as a vendor and have also taken an order via snapdocs before.

When I did the documents were only in the portal and the requested ongoing through the portal.

It’s strange they would use both. Maybe they have schedulers issues sometimes.

40 page application suuurreeee let me get right on that :joy_cat:

If you’re so busy you don’t need any other offers coming in that’s pretty great.
