Has anyone done work for this company and not got paid? You call the office number and all you get is a recording and no one calls you back. I found his information on Linkedin and asked him about a past due invoice from November , the email response was “I will research it”, still haven’t heard back from him

I have not been paid since 12/6/2016. This company has not responded to any requests for payment. I even went to title and nothing happened. I am going to title again and then I am taking them to collections.
DO NOT WORK FOR NATIONAL PREFERRED NOTARY! They should go out of business.
I have not been paid for a signing I did on 1/17/17 for National Preferred Notary. The assignment came via Snap Docs so I sent a message on 3/1/17 asking when I could expect payment. They said payment goes out after 30 days or “when they get paid”. I replied that it is well past 30 days. They replied again and said they would look into it. No payment yet. My contact person is Brenda Burns, Scheduling Coordinator 855-731-5139 (x303). I will be reaching out again. I will be adding National Preferred Notary to my personal list of companies not to do business with. They don’t pay well enough or timely enough (when you do get paid).
Ok ladies, so I send the president of this company Mike an email today informing him I was going to call Fidelity underwriting and inform them that he is not meeting his agreement to collect payments from title companies and that he is not paying his notaries. I heard back from Brenda today and she informed me that wants accounting to clear this up immediately. I guess I will see if I get payment

I haven’t been paid sisnce December 20, 2016. After several,attempts to contact the signing company by email and phone, I still haven’t received a check. Don’t do signings for The Accurate Group of Texas LLC.
I have not been paid for two orders…they are over 90 days past due.
Same thing here Brenda said “we are looking into it” and “I notified accounting”…
This is getting ridiculous.
I was paid yesterday for one of my past due checks…but she said she is sending the other one today lol.
Wow.
Ditto … left numerous messages and nobody calls back. I finally received my check from them this week! I just kept emailing and calling until they got sick of me???

I worked for them in Sept 2017. Michael DeValk, President, and Brenda responded with the same messages that I’ve seen on Notary Cafe, no results, I’ve contacted Joanne Zeigler c/o Lawyers Title- Las Vegas; she sent them an email with cc to me, no results. The BBB in Ca. (NPN has A+ rating) is sending me a form to file a compliant, my review was filed at https://www.bbb.org/sdoc/business-reviews/notary-public/national-preferred-notary-in-fountain-valley-ca-100121280.
I received an assignment from them today about 2 hours ago how do I cancel not willing to take the chance o not getting paid
Call them back and tell them that you did some research on their company and you don’t want to work with them due to their history of nonpayment. Just tell them the truth, they won’t be happy but then again YOU won’t be happy if you do the signing and don’t get paid. If enough notaries did this signing companies would take paying us on time a lot more seriously!
I did two signings for them in October 2017 and I have called and sent emails. I have also documented when I have called and what BS response I have received in an email. I emailed the title company and CC’d Mike DeValk (who is the owner) and the title company was pretty upset that they are not the notaries. I will see what happens. I think that they have gone out of business and will probably pop up with another name. I think that we should all look at our orders and email every lender and title company that they have accepted business from and put them on blast. I actually told the title company not to send them anymore work.
National Preferred Notary is no on Snapdocs any more. Watch out for other platforms they may use
