By 2 PM today I have secured 7 new orders.
I better get more before the end of the day! Unfortunately lost one due to my counter offer was too high:( 
I bet I was only $5 higher than the other person! I asked for $175 refi for a location that is about an hour into the mountain. Normally I get about $230-$250 for that location! Yep, the game is on! And it’s fierce! You are no longer a valuable notary, you are only valued if your fee is lower! I don’t blame the title company it’s business. Of course they’re going to go with whom ever is cheaper so they can keep more money! Oh well, that’s life. This is part of the business! Ugh.

@VIPnotaryCO Sorry to hear you lost a signing over $5! Glad that you got 7 orders though. I agree with you about competition – I signed up on every platform and have yet to receive a single signing notification. Granted, I am brand new to this, but I expected at least one since it is the end of the month. Any tips to rank higher on the platforms? Thank you again for the action plan you sent me!
I went thru the same game, lost lot of companies due to them paying me 200+
on the signings, but we completely deserved it, i drove down west Virginia from Maryland 2 hour drive for 325, i guess they really had nobody in that area. Now i regret it knowing that most companies want the notaries who take the jobs for change, 90-120 bucks. Knowing our printing , our driving, our time, We will deserve the 200+/ Most companies pay me the higher fee knowing there wont be any delays or mistakes with my jobs but some companies get tired of over paying eventually which makes sense like you said business is business , May i ask you which company or which companies are bringing you so many jobs, usually i am so busy i cant even handle it. This week i am looking for new companies to sign up with/ work with been very slow.
Same. This week slowed down to a screeching halt. I think I’ll still reach my weekly minimum, but it’ll be close. I think on Wednesday I had one general notary job for $55 and that’s it. No alerts for anything else and I’m signed up with 45 signing services. Time to sign up for more and I literally hate signing up for these services. It takes so much time and energy just for 90% of them to never contact you lol.
