how do you guys avoid wrist fatigue :writing_hand:t5:
and how do you keep your skin moist? :open_hands:t3::raised_hands:t4::handshake:
Thanks

I truly love/appreciate fingertip grips that are like ‘fish gills’ - tacky. If they loose the tackniess? Just toss in the washer & dryer. VOILA! Tackiness returned.

very cool I’ve never seen these before. Thanks. I’ll have to watch a youtubevideo
to see how to use them

You just slide one onto a single finger & use it to turn pages effortlessly.

They’re found in office supply stores. The box is labeled with Sizes. There’s a hole in the top section of the box to slide your finger into (that you normally utilize to turn pages). You’ll then know if the size fits the finger you’ll be using.

NOTE: If you know your ring size on that finger, then choose that number!

It’s so smooth. No moistening your fingertip with saliva (ugh!). No yucky “pink stuff.”:tulip:

I’ve found that using one of these eliminates the need for hand lotion.

I carry both hand sanitizer and hand cream in my briefcase. I use them throughout the day. I also have finger grips, but rarely use them.

My old fashioned remedy for keeping my hands moist and I’m 75. Once a week when preparing food mix salad with whatever dressing with your hands, make meatloaf using your hands to incorporate mixture, bake homemade cookies and use your hands to incorporate dough. Also found this helpful after working in yard and other household chores. Hands stay soft and moist even without lotions.

My personal remedy for wrist fatigue is Tai Chi exercises. My routine is Tai Chi exercise for seniors with goal on daily basis. One of the exercises is wrist rotation which can be done any time you feel fatigue. At one point in my life had carpal tunnel syndrome and only treatment L&I would cover was surgery. I said NO and used acupuncture and Tai Chi exercises. Yoga may have some similar exercises. I have used acupuncture for over 40 years and so have my children. Good luck!

Love the natural approach to things. That’s pretty impressive that you were able to avoid carpal tunnel with Tai Chi! Thanks!!

It’s been a challenge for me. My hands got so dry the other day I had to go home and soak them in warm water and put mineral oil on them

Lotion and a wrist brace. I only used the brace when i first started then my wrist got used to the motions. Thai Chi sounds like an excellent remedy. Dry skin is often an internal issue so make sure you’re drinking plenty of water too  I love the rubber fingers… they are my best friend!

SHHH don’t tell anyone, but this stuff smudges your fingerprints. So don’t put this on your fingers if you’re going to break into a safe. But you didn’t here this from me. :male_detective:

Hahahaha!! I’ll have to remember that!

That sounds really uncomfortable. Mary Kay used to have this regimen called Satin Hands. It has exfoliation, moisturizer, etc. That was great. Now, I do my own version using my homemade sugar scrub and deep moisturize with cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, or sesame oil (whatever is within reach) and socks overnight. I really have to pay attention to my cuticles in winter since I have to sanitize so much during the day (touching IDs and sanitizing pens).
