Just read about a timely notary workshop offered at the National Notary Association convention in Las Vegas in June titled, “The Pitfalls of Social Media” by Michelle Riley: Conference Agenda | nationalnotary.org

I 1000% expect Michelle to cite posts directly from the Notary Cafe Forum LOL So many examples in here of what may be perfectly fine to think to yourself or confide to a friend privately over coffee, but is maybe not so cool to post in a public online forum such as this.

So another gentle reminder that Internet rage posts live forever. We now run the risk of becoming subject matter in someone’s NNA workshop :rofl:

The internet is forever. As a rule I prefer to not be specific about companies when recounting experiences. Folks may not care about alienating the company they’re badmouthing but other companies might decide to limit using someone who does that.
