Question - documents with read and approved stamp

Hello,

I recently encountered for the first time an Evidence of Insurance for Mortgagee document in the loan package that had a read and approved stamp with some lines underneath. Does this mean it requires signatures or initials? If so, which one? I haven’t seen that before. Is this common?

In my experience, my clients normally want signatures in those locations; however, I always reach out and ASK for specific instructions regarding that location (if I don’t have it in my notes for that client already).

Signatures. If they want initials, they will usually say.

All of my “read and approved lines” usually require signature(s) from whoever the borrower/seller/signer is.

Thanks for the feedback.
