So, I’m struggling trying to figure out which program to use, or both, for my notary business. So, Quickbooks is great, it gives me everything I need to run a business, financial overlook, invoicing, except for my notary needs, like keeping track of my appointments; and Notary Gadget is great because it gives me everything I need as a notary except the great financial tools that Quickbooks has. So, my question is, should I just pick Notary Gadget and just not have a good look at my finances? Or, should I spend the money and use both. I have been using both for the past 6 months, but it’s very frustrating when you have to fill in notary signing information on both platforms. Any info would be great!
@Robert2 Great question!
I’ve utilized Notary Assist for nearly two decades I’ve relied upon Notary Assist program/application. I find it to be AWESOME! It fits my business needs Perfectly!
The Notary Assist software is:
- User friendly
- Easy to sort the data with column sort priorities
- Perfect for maintaining the schedule of engagements
- Simple to monitor accounts payable
- Easy to create new Clients and support team members in my database
- Creates invoices
- One-step backup process
- Data entry in overview mode or within each engagement popup screen
- Great to ease of accessing data at Tax Time
- Excellent report creation tools
- Easy to alter previously created engagement data
- Outstanding mileage monitoring reports
- Software is designed to report income correctly [exclusion of notarial fees from income reports]
For the purely financial components, MS Excel fills in the “gaps.”
