@RobinPaNotary There is much to Research and to become comfortable with regarding providing these types of services.
With that said, here are a few very helpful threads for you to Review. Some are fairly recent & some are a bit more “experienced, ” but the information is still Helpful!
Hello stacey3. I have been a RON since 2020 when COVID hit. I have tried the following platforms for my work as an independent notary:
DocVerify
OneNotary
Notarize
Pavaso
NotaryCam
I settled on Notarize both as an on-demand notary and for my own independent RON business for 99% of my work because it just works almost seamlessly and has a really good chat support feature that you can use during your sessions if you need it for technical issues. Their training as an on-demand notary made the…
I have been on Notarize since COVID broke out in 2020. At that time, they were scrambling for notaries and work was non-stop. I have done over 6000 individual document signings and 1500 real estate closings. They only used Florida, Texas, and Virginia for their On Demand notaries. It started slowing down last year when they added Nevada in anticipation of increased business and it oversaturated the platform with notaries while, at the same time, making sure their response time to people needing …
I found a list of MISMO approved RON, RIN, and IPEN providers for e-mortgage closing! I plan on switching to do 100% RON someday. I’m going to start adding more RON providers to my business.
IMO: Just select the companies that are on “YOUR STATE APPROVED LIST” keep in mind that this list is only showing companies that are approved for E-mortgage closing, your state approved list will show some of these names plus other GNW providers.
To sign up, just click on the links! Good luck!

Hello Kayla,
My apologies for the delay in responding. I was on vacation and had to get things flowing again on the business end. I still recommend Notarize, even though the business has slowed down a bit due to their getting to the level they need to make sure they are covered with notaries. But this is the same as the mobile notary business, which everyone experiences, depending on the season or the market. One upcoming perk with Notarize is that they will be allowing notaries to bring their …
Hello everyone. I am a RON notary in Virginia and started doing RON work in April pf 2020. I checked out a number of platforms and settled on Notarize and DocVerify. It is true that DocVerify can be expensive but I tracked my expenses and found that I had cleared over $3000. That was because I was able to handle about 30 individual requests that had multiple notarizations in their set of documents as well as Title clients I have had over the years who are slowly coming onboard with RON closings …
I am a commissioned electronic notary in Virginia. I have been a mobile notary since 2008 and have made a living as a NSA during that time. I got my electronic notary commission because the industry is heading that way. When COVID-19 hit, I had to find another way to do notary work because I am missing one third of my lungs. I started pursuing RON with DocVerify. Virginia doesn’t have any restrictions on how many platforms we use so I added Notarize where I have been a contractor since the virus…
