Hello Fellow LSA’S. I wanted to take the opportunity to reach out to everyone on the platform to ask what their experiences have been with ServiceLink Title company. I’ve been partners with for a few years now. Ive had some great interactions and some not so good. Any feed back ?
One continuing practice of theirs is to periodically call you to ‘let you know’ that if you reduce your fee, you’ll get more business. If you do that, they’ll call the next notary & tell them the same thing. Race to the bottom–don’t do it!

Yep - and be aware this was their line 10+ years ago - they fed the same line to me - I did not lower my $125 fee and they still called

I have had no issues with them as far as assignments or payments. I get my rate and they are one of my top companies that I work with.

What is your typical rate?
I’m in south Florida and they called me saying their rate for my area is $63 for signings and will go in line with assigning the appointments to the lower fee notaries first and work their way up if no one bites. They also said they will link to my calendar and automatically assign me signings. That has happened once since May 2022 and I haven’t had a signing with them since. I’m thinking I will set my fee since they haven’t sent me any business anyway. Might as well get paid my fee when they finally do!

(CA) Can’t make much $$ when the fee is just $63. You might as well get what you typically charge.

Can I ask what market you’re in ? because that has much to do with why they might settle for your rate.
