Just last night I was alerted by a Title Company that my Background Check was out of date on Signing Order. I went in this morning and she was right. It showed an update form for 2/2026, but it showed an old background check which had expired a couple of years ago. As I reviewed my profile, I also noticed that my cell phone # for text messages had been changed. There were changes to my services as well. I am not a RON Notary as of yet as there is no use in this immediate area, but it had been applied to my profile. I immediately changed my password and repaired the profile. Has anyone else had any issue?
Wow….someone playing with your profile?? An owner of another site used to do that - his site is now defunct…imagine that.
I’d put SO on notice that you will not tolerate anyone making changes to, or interfering with, your profile. That should be your domain, not SO’s.
I really do not know what happened. I have the phone # that was used to replace mine…I’m just leery of calling. I believe SO has been compromised, at least my profile. Everyone needs to change their password!
I just emailed support, my credentials that are current and were uploaded till yesterday keep disappearing. I have entered and reentered a few times, but they keep disappearing. Not sure if there is an issue somewhere?
After entering your information do you save it? If you don’t it wont stay.
Yes. All credentials were literally there and fine until a couple of days ago. I had to email customer service, who ended up having to add back on from their end. It still has an alert that credentials aren’t there when I sign on, and I have not received any texts for any signings from them since this problem started. They have assured me it’s fine and is not a problem, but I am not completely convinced.
Companies on signing order want people with experence.

Go in and search for yourself. If you can’t find your credentials call them back and let them know that it is a problem. I’ve had the same issue with my background check since February. Now what I found out is that a background check from 3 years ago kept populating the feed when the new one was delayed. I was able to go in and delete the old BG check and then repopulate the new one. Fingers crossed…I hope that resolves the issue. Go search yourself…see if you can find you and your credentials.

Have same problems. The creds are visible & clickable, but site says they need to be added. Have received no notifications since this began…which was roughly about the time I renewed my E&O. Several emails to them have resulted in them saying ‘no problem on their end’–when, obviously, there is.
That was helpful information- I am showing up. But message is still there. I am multiple platforms and no issues with any others. I’m concerned because when this issue started I stopped getting texts. Prior to this I would get around 5 texts a day and was closing about 4 signings with them a week.

It may not be your profile. They’ve changed WHEN you get notified. Apparently, first choice goes to the cheapest. Following is what they said: (italics mine)
“Our system notifies notaries in increments until the order is filled. If a notary accepts the assignment early in the process, the automated notification sequence stops immediately so the hiring company can finalize the assignment. In some cases, an offer may be assigned before the notification reaches your contact information.”
