Anyone else work for Signing Stream & have problems? Started work for them beginning September 8th & I’m just now being paid (I hope! They’ve sent me notice I’m being paid). The client decided it was too late to go on & asked me to come back the next day. The loan officer said he would put in for extra fees. Of course now they tell me I have to email immediately for that! I’ve also been told, after the first two signings, that they customarily take 60 to 90 days to pay since that’s how long it takes them to get paid. They were desperate when they called & oh so nice! Not so nice now.
I won’t do business with them ever again. I had a Quit Claim Deed for them for 50.00. They accused me of not getting it notarized, come to find out it was a notary in a different state they had an issue with, not me. Then after Signing Stream agreed to 50.00 they said they were only paying me 30.00 because it was a partial signing under 35 pages, then why offer 50.00 in the beginning? Almost 90 days later finally got payment.
Super slow pay. They paid the first time after I got a hold of them and mentioned that it had been passed the amount of time they tell you it will take to get paid. Then I got a call asking if I would lower my fee. They said it takes a long time to get paid because they are short staffed. Will not be working for them again.
I just recently had a run in with them. They said they wanted a normal refi done for 65.00! I said no the very least I could do was 75. Then they sent the pkg! It was a huge VA refi and they wanted the whole pkg faxed back. I told them to look elsewhere.
will never work for them again. they are low ballers and they always find a reason to cut your check claiming something wasn’t down right. Example you must go to their site to log off the order when its is complete and Fax the complete package back after signing which I did with no errors and they claim I didn’t do it and I sent proof because I alway BBC myself on all scan backs they still doc my pay $20 dollars total on a $75.00 order.

Early in my career I did some signings for them. They would only pay $55 for a REFI and wanted full scan backs.
Worst of all, when they finally do pay you they deduct 10-15-$20 for this or that. After two months I cannot recall
what happened or if anything happened at all. Instead of telling you of an error when it
is detected they wait two months. These people are notary Nazi’s. I tracked down some of the items I was dinged for
and found they were not true. For instance, “docs not faxed back”. I keep all my email and found the email
that contained the scan back. Worse yet, they do not provide a secure link for the scan-back. They expect you
to use email! Worst of the worst.
Same thing happened to me! When be I proved that I had faxed back they said “oh well checks already gone out can’t do anything now”. Don’t work for these cheats!
I agree with all the above. They always try to low ball the fee and then when I receive my payment they always deduct for something which I know I did so I also have asked to be removed from their list.
