Solidifi - sign up fee?

I received an email invitation to join the SOLIDIFI Network. Determining whether or not to join is easy for me. If there is a sign up fee I don’t join. This place wants a lot of upfront information and I can’t tell if the final question will be

Solidifi is real estate evaluation services company, don’t believe they require notaries. Don’t apply unless they give you more information.

Solidifi do requires an effort to get into their system and they have requirements that most signing services don’t, but they are solid and provides business. Good Luck

Solidify is a great company to work with. They pay very fast. No sign-up fee.

Sounds like a scam. Don’t pay people to acquire work!

Solidifi, has been hiring me from snapdocs. I usually don’t accept work off snapdocs do to low pay but Solidifi been paying $125!

Very recently (11/2018) Solidify has left the SnapDocs platform and created their own platform similar to SD. Seems their maximum fee now is $110 and they also require full pkg. scanback on all orders for that!

Today, I received a ‘platform request’ for one that included quite a bit of travel mileage & time…and the additional ‘travel fee’ offered (over the $110) worked out to be $0.39/mi… period. Apparently they put no value on car expense or your travel time. Nor is there any way to negotiate. Take it or leave it. B-bye Solidifi.

In the past, I’ve worked with both Linear TC and Solidifi and have found their pkgs. to be around 180ish pages and the pay was MUCH BETTER.

Update: When their own Platform fails to interest anyone, they still turn to SnapDocs…still with low fees. We should learn something from this. Just say no to low fees!

I signed up with Solidify a few months ago, and they sent me work right-away I don’t remember paying them a fee but they do, require a their own background check through sterling, which I did as soon as that came through they sent me a few assignments directly from their portal. The only thing is they want scan backs, not fax backs, which can get tricky because their packages are large other than that I’ve enjoyed doing their signings. They fee is a little over $100

With the 180-ish page pkg. & full pkg. scanback, the $110 offered is pretty cheap for a TC. I got $150 because I negotiated and will not do this much work for any less.

how did you negotiate, if they don’t actually call you, the send out emails that way I know next time because their packages are a a good size, and are labor-some to split and scan :expressionless:

They called, I quoted ‘my fee’, they accepted. Apparently, (I have since discovered), they were in the process of transitioning to their own platform–hence the call as I wasn’t ‘signed up’ on the platform. Since that time, I’ve received several way too low offers thru the platform, which I simply declined. And watched the $$ increase and still declined; then they tried SnapDocs–still declined. It’s still being offered and, thus far, THERE ARE NO TAKERS.

We CAN get fees up, but only if everybody turns low fees down. Which, of course. IS the problem–if you don’t value your own time, nobody else will.

They are not a scam and they do not charge a fee. I signed up with them and received a signing recently for $120, which included scanbacks. It was not a large package and the scan was quick. Too soon to tell if they pay promptly as I just completed the signing a week ago. Assuming they pay in a reasonable amount of time, I hope to work with them in the future.

Thank your for your feedback. I’m in Norhtern Ca and will have an interview with Solidifi soon. I was checking this forum to have an idea of the fees to charge them. As I’m reading your notes, I learned about Linear TC. How do I find them? - I check internet for Linear TC, but nothing shows. Thank you

Solidifi used to be known as Linear Title… Keep your fees up with them as they are just trying to fool you into going cheap to ‘get experience’… all you’ll do is go broke faster. Fees are notary driven. So, start driving 'em up.

Same, I have completed 2 signings and had no problems with Solidifi. They offer fair fees and pay without hunting then down. I had to sit for 2 extra hours waiting on borrower (stuck behind a fatality accident) Solidifi compensated me with $50 added to original fee because I waited and completed the assignment. I hope that helps :heavy_heart_exclamation:
