Strange day today. I’m seeing an increase in orders coming through by phone vs app from companies I’m with. Normally I get them through their apps.
Are you seeing an increase in phone calls for orders from the same companies who normally just send through their apps lately?
Interesting, I’ve been getting a bunch of calls for assignments that are scheduled for next week for purchases and refis traditional, hybrid and RON. Not last minute stuff. Strange day… maybe their systems are down.
That’s exactly what I’ve been seeing. I picked up a nice two-package signing for next week (wow, got one in advance!) and it came by phone call from one of my faves. Sure beats the cattle call method. I wonder what’s up. I’ve had others, too.
My guess is that SS are pre-selecting their favorites and checking in with them on the few orders they are getting to keep their faves working. Who knows?
I had two signings today, well paid, they were done before for some Notaries through RON but there were some mistakes done and TC an the borrowers wanted these signings done the old fashioned way. Bless those RON Notaries…
First, I thought maybe they finally realized how important it is to get their best agents out for the perfect closing every time instead of pushing through the mass blast and hope for the best; but nah, that’s not it because loyalty does not exist in this business.
It’s not possible for notaries to make mistakes on RON closing! The only reason when RON could not be completed successfully is because either when the signer is not technology savvy, id did not pass, failed security questions, internet problem, or system error not taking password, etc. Then at that point they will cancel the signing, either reassign to another ron agent or convert to either hybrid or traditional paper and if the current agent has the time he or she can reschedule the time to meet with the client to sign in person, that agent will get the full fee for ron that couldn’t get closed plus another full fee for the traditional paper closing for the same client. Again it is not possible for a Notary to make mistakes on Ron closing! So if you ever get orders that were converted from Ron to traditional paper don’t blame the ron notaries and say they made mistakes.
Please explain the notaries’ mistakes. What mistakes?
Notaries or clients signed incorrectly? No, not possible. Notaries notarized incorrectly? No, not possible. I will stop here.
I cannot “explain” notaries mistakes because I did not mention them, I just stated “mistakes done” if mistakes occurred because the notary, the borrower or nobody were familiar with the system is not of me to find about it, if this kind of situations keep happening to somebody and I can take advantage of them, let it be it, business is business…
It’s nice to chat with the callers:). Bummer I couldn’t help two of them for this Saturday due to schedule conflict. The nice lady even tried to work around my schedule and asked the clients if they can change time but the clients already have plans. Ugh!!! Good pay too:( ugh….
