Has anyone heard or had dealings with this company?
Sounded like a dorky name, so I did a bit of digging. Lame website and google maps shows it’s being operated out of a house in Berwyn, IL. Caution advised.
Thanks so much for the information. With all these new companies popping up, you just don’t know. The woman was overly friendly which I have found in the past, is a big question mark.
This is funny, but also true.
Being overly friendly is a question mark? Maybe she’s an LSS graduate and is just happy someone is going to work with her on an order she can’t service herself.
And honestly, y’all, I work from my house. That’s means caution?
I give an LSS graduate a chance. if I have to chase payment it’s the only chance they get. But there are many who pay on time and provide good support and are not a problem. Even if they are cutting my check on their kitchen table.
Oh my, I haven’t heard that name for quite some time. I got a call from her a few years ago. She wanted me to handle a 150+ pg split signing scheduled at 3:30pm and scanbacks at the table for her to approve and then wanted them shipped out same day via FedEx (our pickup in this area is 4’:00) Told her I don’t scan from the table unless it’s at a bank or office where there’s a scanner available. I’ll scan back from my home office but I don’t haul a scanner around–thats just how I handle my business. Anyway, she demands I download a scanner app on my phone and scan each page and still make same day FedEx pickup. I told her I’m not downloading any scanner app, sounds like you need to find someone else, I can’t accommodate you. She agrees to scanning after the closing at my home office (which was her request, not the lender or title company-this closing didn’t fund until later in the week) She flat out told me she doesn’t trust mobile Notaries so she has to check our work for all the mistakes we make. Again, I told her to find someone else, I don’t like how she does business. She then tells me she’s paying $100 for the job. I said, hard pass on this whole gig we’re done. My minimum for that kind of job at the time was $125. She gasped and said, “$125!?” Well, I’m not doing this for FREE! I said, excuse me? YOU’RE not doing this for free? You’re not doing anything! She started to say something else and by then I was done with this whack job and told her to never call me again. I blocked the number of wherever it was she was calling from.
I did get payment in the form of check. My bank will notify me if there is an issue. In the past few months, there has been so many new companies popping up. You have no idea if they are reputable. Very scary.
