Notary Nation, Inc - Scam No Pay!

Did a morning (9am) job for Notary Nation, Inc out of California working with Wilshire Consumer Credit for a Car loan. small 4pg print, met with client, took pictures, scanned and send. Small order, $40 order. However, they indicated NET60. Here we are… Near NET120 and no pay and no response.

My contacts were Christian Orona and Mercy Soliz aka Mercedes Soliz.

Clearly they think a ‘one off’ in Florida warrants a no pay but it does not. If you do a job, you should expect to get paid, regardless of how small the pay. DO NOT WORK WITH NOTARY NATION, INC.- SCAM, NO PAY!

@notary54 Thank you for sharing your direct experience.

Wondering if you were able to Research the immediately available information found within the Notary Cafe database on this business entity, prior to accepting this Signing Order [SO] from them.

The common theme that is woven through posts from professional signing agents [PSAs]/business owners who accepted a SO from the deadbeat Signing Services [SSs] listed throughout the Notary Cafe forum & database is that they tell a believable story . . .

FOR EXAMPLE ===>>> “We’ve recovered completely now from (fill in the blank) and you’ll not have any trouble receiving payment if you’ll accept this SO.”

Sadly, the individual willing to extend credit to these longtime deadbeats is left holding the debt for the unpaid SOs.

As I often express ===>>> CAVEAT VENDITOR!

.
.

Just know that the information is a GOLDMINE!

There are a few members from time-to-time who come onto the Notary Cafe forum & harken that the longtime deadbeats are now reliable payers . . .

NO! It’s not true. They just haven’t been struck yet by the deadbeats. Once they’re 3 or 4 deep (or more) into it - the deadbeat will arise like a zombie & strike once again.

If you’re not familiar with how to Research the valuable database . . . see below.

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database.

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and the results show 21 separate threads (in addition to yours) WARNING about NON-PAYEMTN with this particular business entity going back as far as March of 2019.

There is a plethora of data immediately available on the threads within Notary Cafe. :sparkles::tulip:

Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . . :crown:

Hello all, I received a signing Equity Loan through an email from EXOS, since I know I haven’t gotten any offers I contacted them through service link, they could not find me on their platform and I gave them the email address it wasn’t one of theirs.

You have a new EXOS assignment received Order #20034045050 - Closing package

I just rec’d this today - im thinking this is a scam. glad to see i’m not alone on this one. I will not be clicking on this PDF. Posting for awareness

Awareness of what. Paranoia? If you have a good virus scan on your email you won’t receive attachments that are infected.

I have done jobs for EXOS via SigningOrder. There is nothing wrong with them except their payment terms - I think I waited 60 days. For payment that did come.

Same issue here! I countered with $60 for same type of Wilshire Consumer Credit job as that was the fee they agreed to last two times - pay date hasn’t arrived yet so we’ll see! But yesterday I responded in the “message” line that I wanted $60 and explained why. They chose to not read that and assigned me at $40. I objected but they continued to assign me at $40. When I refused to show up and texted them, Mercy texted “Stop annoying me. I’m trying to work here” and “Do not message me any further”. Then I got message from Christian telling me I no longer had the assignment (then next day telling me the work order had been cancelled). Anyway - will see if I get paid - their document stated specifically they will “no longer front payment to the Notary” - as in they’re so insolvent they can’t “front” $40. But they also state that they bill their client (Wilshire) at the end of the month and then Wilshire has 30 days to pay. They don’t pay us until Wilshire pays them! I’ll see what happens when pay date rolls around - and it won’t be 60 days! Did the job on May 17 which means they billed Wilshire on May 31 and Wilshire has until June 30 to pay them! So my assuming I’d be paid on July 17 is looking interesting! Will keep you posted!

I just received one of these today. When I clicked their link, it downloaded an .exe file. Not touching that until I get some kind of verification from the sender. I am wondering if this is some kind of scam\virus.

an exe file could be malware - you should run a security scan on your system.

Stuck in the same situation with Notary Nation (read my post above on how I was treated!). Fortunately I’m only out $100 (only!) but I’m not getting paid! Noticed on my last work offer there is a button at the very bottom that says “I no longer want to work for XXX”. It appears we’re complaining about companies but not bothering to use that notice - if enough of us do that for certain companies, they will find themselves out of business!

@barbmadaras Yes, EXCELLENT item to showcase.

That CHOICE is in the “fine print” for many of the APPs we utilize.

:tada: Thank You for reminding all Notary Cafe members to look for that Option! :tada:

I’m sorry to read of this, however, I have since used that ‘no longer wanting to work with’ option. And gratefully haven’t received anymore offers from them.

Hi, I did a job for them back in May and I have not gotten paid either, I did receive a message from them saying they are having issues with their payments. I tried calling the numbers that I had for them and it’s all voice mails including the front desk.

@schompv Thank You for sharing your direct experience.

By any chance did you Review the two threads I referenced above?

:swan:

Yes, Thank you. I have read it.
