WARNING: Prestige Notaries - Not Getting Paid

Prestige Notaries are a bad company to work for. I have 3 outstanding invoices from last year that I was never paid for. I have called, emailed, but no response. BEWARE

You should contact the TC involved. It reflects poorly on them, too, when hiring party doesn’t pay the notary and they should make sure Prestige knows that.
But, you should also do this much earlier…like 60 days from service.

@aopre Thank you for sharing your direct experience.

Yes, this information is immediately available on Notary Cafe & is very insightful & helpful, too!

It’s always wise to research & vet a new client prior to providing a definitive confirmation to them for your initial Signing Order for them. A great start of research would begin within the Notary Cafe forums Search Function.

A request has been submitted on numerous occasions [to BRIGHTEN the Magnifying Glass] over the years to the Notary Cafe Team Leads. That request has been reportedly passed onto the programmers of the site => that members find it difficult to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of info available within the database.

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

Accessing the database to locate info about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ā€˜chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . .

Here is a Notary Cafe page containing numerous threads on this business entity that all convey the IDENTICAL experience you’ve kindly shared here. The direct Notary Cafe url is as follows:

@berylgb39 It’s SO helpful when Notary Cafe members who have direct experience (positive or negative) share it with others on the forum. :sparkles:

I don’t know what is going on with them. The owner seems to be pushing this ghost commerce MLM scheme like nothing I have ever seen. I guess that’s where her priorities are now.

I have one Invoice from Coast to Coast unpaid, I normally work for one company and establish a relation with them, I had worked a lot for C T C one time, this time they sent me a check that couldn’t be deposited, I made serval attempts to contact to no avail.

I work with Prestige Notaries alot, and have no problem addressing any delays in payments civily with them. They typically pay 45 days from closing.

Now this is something most of you do not know. Companies such as PrestigeNotaries.com, SigningOrders.com, Notarydash.com are not title companies, they are 3rd party vendors, they receive their money from the title companies they work with. The title company is the one who ultimately controls when they will send payment to the 3rd party vendors who assign work to the notaries.

Your signing order will have the name of the title company, and T/C on it. l do not recommend you contact them since you were not hired by them per se’. You should address your complaint to the vendor, with the date of signing, an invoice number, the fee amount, the name of the buyer, seller, or borrower on your invoice. Ask the 3rd party vendor who you should send your invoice to,. You will be surprised how quickly you will receive a response. Hope this helps.

I took a job last minute around the holidays. Asked for full fee because I was busy, it was last minute and holiday season. Every time I uploaded my invoice it was immediately ā€œarchivedā€ and disappeared. I did it about 30 times. Clearly they had an agenda. Then when I woke up I did it again. Then I eventually had to create an email to like 5 of the parties about the lack of payment. And an E check showed up later that day, or after the weekend had passed. It took me 106 days to get paid, the appointment was easy, getting paid was a lot of work. I said never again, and ill be sticking with that-
oh yeah to this day it shows that I have not uploaded my invoice lol (notary dash)
