What do you think of my business card?

I’ve been encountering young adults, raised in the US, who can’t read cursive writing because many schools haven’t taught it in quite a while. In my career in high tech, I encountered many scientists and engineers who were educated in places like India, Japan, and Taiwan who also couldn’t read cursive because it wasn’t taught in those countries.

Did you know scammers taking commission numbers off business cards and ordering notary stamps online with lifted numbers ?? Numbers can also be obtained online by other means but easier to lift off business cards.

I have also noticed people not knowing cursive writing since I started my LS business. Scary that many military people don’t know cursive writing when various switch boxes on ships, etc. labeled with cursive writing. Few years ago military developed classes to teach cursive writing. Scary if someone pulls wrong switch due to lack of knowledge.

No didn’t think about that.

 Have you ever criticized someone for having a business card that was too “masculine”?

It is pretty Kianna; however, if I just glanced at it, I would think it was for salon services or something in that line of services because it is so artistic. I think someone else recommended the NNA Certification symbol. I use that on my business cards for the past 5 years.

It’s looks very attractive and the pink theme is a classy touch. Do you have any list of other services you provide on the back of the card? That can help too with opening other side hustles in the notary field.

I agree with Ashton, Notary Public would be my preferred term. Is saying PA & NJ too broad? Do you cover both states completely or just adjacent counties? I think mentioning specific states is limiting and you are better off without it. Do you speak another language? That might be something to add. Overall the card is beautiful and has your key contact information.

It’s a gorgeous card and way more artsy than mine. I was happy to just settle on Corsiva and Ascender serif font types, as creative as my linear brain would allow!

I for one like it. Its to the point. I do agree with next batch switch public notary to notary public. I kept mine short and sweet also. I no longer list services as those have been added to over the years and some taken away. I first became a notary to do title transfers and GNW at my place of employent. Business closed so i became NSA amd do at home and Travel notary. Now Im building my PennDot office this year to do title transfers again. Im on my 3rd card design in 4 years. No more listing individual services for me.
