What do you think of my business card?

I’ve been a public notary for 13+ years but never printed out cards. Now that I’m doing loan signings and want to build my professional portfolio, I created this card. Please share your thoughts. Am I missing anything? Should I change anything? I appreciate all the support I can get.

People are more familiar with “notary public” than “public notary”.

Mine has my commission number and counties of service. It’s nice though but I would say notary public services. If you are NNA NSA Certified, you can use that badge.

Agree with others. Also, nitpicking here…but you are not a certified notary public…you’re a “commissioned” notary public (no need to put “commissioned” on your business card). but you are a “certified” Signing Agent. Like I said…nitpicking a bit, but you asked.

I like the card, though

If that is gold foil, I bet this card looks really nice in person. Business card font and type size is going to matter to some folks. To test visibility, reduce the image down to a business card size and see whether it might be a challenge for a potential hiring company to read. I like how your name is in bold, nice and visible

If making changes, refer to yourself as Notary Public and include your commission number.

There’s absolutely no need to include your commission number. No other professionals do that.

What area and why state do you cover. To me that’s the most important thing.

Lots of professionals include license information. You don’t find it necessary that’s great for you. But stating no other professionals do a pretty broad stroke. The electrician does, the HVAC guy does - lots of people do.

They’re service people doing physical work.

It is common for jobs that require licensing/bonding (such as a notary public) to offer this info on business cards. Did I say it is mandatory? Nope. I did not. Kianna was asking for suggestions on her business card and so I made the suggestion.

 I would argue that hauling all my loan packages around constitutes physical work for me LOL

I agree. This is why I caution new notaries about taking advice here. Sometimes it’s not that great. Besides, the electrician is making a lot more than me. I don’t mind his example.

I have the same business card since 1999. Probably handed out at least 10 thousand of these.

Nice and legible! :+1:
Joe, is APOSTILLE123. NET having domain issues? It won’t load for me.

It loaded for me. You have a blank space between the dot and N in net.

My suggestion would be to get a real domain name, and a personalized email account. In my opinion, it looks more professional than a gmail account. So your email address would be something like Kianna@DelValleNotary.com.
I did a quick search and that domain is available.

Yes, I did that deliberately in the post so it wouldn’t open a dead link. But whatever issue there was yesterday appears resolved today as the page loads for me now as well. Thanks

I love this suggestion.

Too “girlie”. Doesn’t look business-like.
