And another phone call from Jeremy. 7:30 PM on Sunday evening! Great time of day for a business discussion! Wanted to know if I was still a Notary? Told him I did not appreciate his call on a Sunday and well outside of business hours. He rudely advised me that all he wanted was a yes or know and I should not be rude to him. End of call.
Just moments ago, received call from his chief salesperson, Carmen. Told me my listing would expire in 3 days. I told her I had not received any invoice, etc. Again, she is catching the rudeness bug from Jeremy. Told me he was so busy he couldnāt address each Notary individually. Quoted me a rate for 7th position on his site. Advised her that I was tired of his lack of professionalism and that he continued to jerk me around with his certification and that he had told me once I was certified and 3 weeks later I was not, etc. I have decided to let 123 Notary do their own thing. And I will advise any Notary, Title Company, Attorney etc. of their business practices.
He sent me his test, and I emailed back that Iāve already closed loans for him, and would not be willing to take another test outside the National Notary Background test. I said he could use me or not. His choice. I feel comfortable with that response.
He does not send you work nor does he āuseā you for anything (except to collect your money) and you do not close loans for him - he merely maintains a listing site for your notary business.
Kind of wish people would get this straight: Directories do NOT hire notaries, ever. Hiring parties can FIND you on any Directory, but you are dealing with hiring partyās policies, reputation, and payment policy, for better or worse. The Directory has no obligation, interest or even clout in that. This difference also applies to so-called āplatformsā.
Girl bye!!! If you want to work for them then do so and leave the rest of us alone! Jeremy is unprofessional and most notary comment on it. Please donāt respond to me again. I could care less what you think or how the process works.
Again I believe you misunderstand. None of us āwork forā him. He just puts your name out there as available for work from signing services and title companies - just like this site does. You get a job and they found you here you are not working for Notary Cafe - youāre working with the company that found your listing hereā¦same procedure there and many, many other sites.
