A360 inc Express Notary

I really don’t mind working with them. I don’t like the scan backs, but other than that, these mods are pretty simple.

I’ve always been paid, but the issue that I have is that they are feast or famine. I have gone periods where I will do 15 to 20 signings for them at a time, and then will get nothing for months. I’ve emailed and called, seeking to follow up on this issue, but have never received a response.

If the company was consistent, it would be wonderful.

Shoddy. Often late with documents. Slow to pay. Don’t let you know when signing is canceled by borrower. Have gotten worse and worse over the last few years and apparently have been bought out a time or two. I have done 25 signings with them over the past half decade or so; but in the last few years, they have gone from average to substandard with the many problems listed above. I unfortunately gave them another chance when they called me directly and negotiated a reasonable fee, but just today, when I took the 300+ pages to the signer, he refused to sign and reported that he called them about 9 hours before the appointment and canceled the appointment and loan, yet no notice was provided by their platform, nor email, nor text, nor call. They report that they will only pay $40 for the printing and about !00 mile trip. Not worth it.

In my direct experience professionally completing Signing Orders [SOs] for a360/CloseClear/ExpressNotary is that there are regular & recurrent challenges for their organization to dispense remuneration for professional services successfully provided. :frowning:

Well, that is WHEN (on rare occasions) they meet an appropriate fee for those services.

Most of the time, their fees are so far below the level of normal fees it’s non-profitable to accept those SOs from them.

Often, their fee ($30) doesn’t even cover the expense of gas to drive to the signing location.

Add to that their statement that “payment is typically issued within 35 days of signing.”

Unfortunately, it requires manual intervention via email requests directly to the “Accounting Department” aensaccounting@ a360inc.com interfacing with “Robert Brinkley, Accounting” to receive payment.

Keep in mind that Robert usually responds promptly. I’ve always received payment for the services provided for their clients; albeit outside the normal payment window interval.

======

Our Professional Signing Agents [PSAs] out-of-pocket expenses are normally paid out on the date of the SO or placed on a credit card, which typically has a due date within 25+/- calendar days. Waiting approximately 6 weeks (or more) to receive payment results in the PSAs essentially providing an interest-free loan for that interval of time.

Hello.
I used to get signing from them and today when I went to the website it’s dismantled.
Do you have the website?
Thanks.

I had a recent experience. Negotiated the fee two hours before the signing and it was an hour drive. I waited for the confirmation which never came. When I finally got in touch with them, they said confirmation was on the way. I believe they told title they had a notary to jump start the process but were negotiating for a lower fee from other Notaries. When they did not get a lower fee, they circled back to me. They pay people a salary to hunt down lower fees all day. They can’t seem to figure out that if they would make decent offers, there would not have to be all this back-and-forth sending out offers in $5.00 increments to get someone to accept. SMH

I agree. It has been a month or two since I have received any assignments. I have not had any issues with payments and I only accept Loan Modification Modifications assignments.

I am literally on my way home from completing an assignment for them. I’m in WA and they are busy here.
