Bad review on Snapdocs

I was wondering if anyone has received a bad review on snap docs and received less signing opportunities? Does the bad review come off after a certain amount of time like a month? has anyone experienced this?

Yes, so Madeline Ricci from BNN (bilingual notary network) gave me a bad review after attempting to collect from her. I did a job that was out of town that was supposed to pay $110. Well they sent me a check for $10 and I brought it to her attention. She started telling me that it wasn’t her problem that my accounting was wrong. Um… hello? I sent her a picture of the 10$ check. Anyway, she left me a bad review and it dropped my score. But as notaries, we can’t see it… but if you have a friend at the signing agency they can check it for you. After your 30 day ban you’ll start getting work again.

I thought I got a bad review from a company but they told me that they didn’t and its not like First Class Signings to leave a bad review they have been giving me thumbs up and never had any issues. I’m wondering if its possible that its just slow right now? Ive still been receiving notifications but a lot less this month from the way it was in March and before that. I’m just not sure now.

It may just be slow because you won’t get anything at all … I mean nothing for a whole 30 days

What you describe about not being able to see negative reviews about you is disturbing and violates federal law. If these signing companies are sharing information about you, you have a right to know. The signing companies are acting like a credit bureau. You have rights. You may want to think about filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. It does not cost you anything. The signing industry needs to be regulated. A class action lawsuit may need to be filed.

I found the reason why the scores go down is because when you do not respond to a text, weather it’s yes or no, your score goes down.

So now I respond to everything even if I deny.

I have a bad review with NPN National Paralegal & Notary. The don’t 1st have your pay date listed unless you go to their page. But who has time when waiting for even a minute the job assignments are gone.

When I complained and had a confrontational conversation with them about it, they threatened me with a bad review. Their pay date is the following end of the month from the date of filling the job. It ended up being a check in the mail 67 days after the job was completed. And the jobs pay good, but really 60 days after the fact, then they wondered what I was complaining about. Now I barely get any job assignments sent to me.

I agreed with a filing law suite
snapdoc isn’t the best thing at all. and because of lack of competition or regularities they are awful. I received racial slurs texts from lenders and brought it to their attention and didn’t care. A lawyer looks at it and at their policies and basically as a notary you have no right once you agree to theirs in exchange for using their platform. no accountability!

OK I have a question? How do you all see your reviews?? I don’t even know where to look to see what reviews have been said about me??

You are correct. I turned off my notifications or removed my contact information when I needed to take care personal business on all platforms.

That’s why I removed my profile from SNAP DOCS! Companies can leave bad reviews on your profile (which btw, only other companies can see and you can’t) for anything even if it’s a legitimate cause, such as yours, i.e, “not getting paid,” and there is no recourse or the ability to rebut. I have more work and with decent fees since I left SNAP DOCS.

You are so correct.
There is something we should definitely do about that. Also a bad review is very one sided especially from a signing agency
Especially if they were the one in the wrong

Wow
How are there no rights?
Umm Hate Speach is not in anything we sign.

You can’t
Snap does not allow us to see them

Well that’s silly… how are we supposed to know if we need to improve on something? Doesn’t it defeat the entire purpose of giving reviews?

I get 8 - 10 emails or texts it seems every day. I never respond to low prices. I just don’t want to take the time to tell them (actually don’t have the time to stay on my phone or computer all day with) “no” every time because of low pay…$45 - $74 - or even $100- $125 for a two hour trip. This is old school pre-pandemic prices. I was just told that Wells Fargo has lower their prices. Who knows? I’ve doubled my prices.

Yes, I was answering on time and not getting signings, so I asked a company that had hired me in the past why. They told me I had a couple of bad reviews because I was critical of a couple of companies and my score was 220(???) and that score was too low to be hired.
next time you are turned down ask the company what your score is.
Screw the companies and screw Snapdocs-they were debt collectors-bottom feeders and I told them not to send me their crap and bug off.
Just goes to show they can’t take criticism

I agree we should file a lawsuit, we should be able to see our reviews/scores. It’s ridiculous.

Yeah, things with SnapDocs and everywhere else here in Seattle have died as far as signing offers are concerned. Not sure why. Not sure how to find out why either.
I have noticed other companies are sending me offers here and there but I think in general things are slow. Maybe because the interest rate is going up? Maybe they are forecasting a bubble to burst soon with housing? Maybe because Seattle has no land to build new housing, except skyscrapers? I can only guess. It sucks though! Need to pay the bills just like everyone else on here. It sure is frustrating, especially the low ball offers with gas prices rising.
