Is the Chicago area slow right now for signing agents? I’m looking to get back in it but haven’t really been receiving much offers.

I’m very steady in the Northwest suburbs but traveling some longer distances. I’ve been working steadily for 5 years so I have some strong relationships with companies that provide me with steady work. I imagine it is difficult to get established right now. There is less work and still a glut of signing agents.

Very difficult to launch a new business within this sector currently. It’s unfortunate that many believe the hype of the TickTock’ers and YouTubers who continue to sell the sizzle, but none of the steak.
Quite a challenge to make 6-figues if based in California, but practically impossible to make the 6-figures those videos tout if based in any other State in the US. 
The excess supply of signing agents keeps the fees at an all-time low . . .
