Cloud Signings LLC - positive feedback

I accepted 2 loan signings in October 2025 from Cloud Signings through Signing Order. I sent them an invoice with the order number, last name of client, service date, and the payment amount and attached it with my drop off receipt. I thought that I had read it could take 60 days to receive payment, so I wasn’t concerned about it.

It was at the 60 day mark for my second signing that I sent an inquiry email. It was a Sunday evening. Subject: Status of past invoices. I asked about each invoice, mentioned the order number, client name, city, service date, and the amount that was due. I also included the date I sent my first invoice. I realized that I hadn’t sent my second invoice and I apologized for it. I thanked them. I sent the email. It was after 5pm because it was already dark outside. I hoped that sending both invoices would be okay even though it was my mistake that I didn’t send them my second invoice.

I got an email notification before I went to bed. It was A CHECK from Cloud Signings paying me for both of my invoices!!! It had only been a couple of hours, and on a Sunday night!! I am SO impressed with how quickly they responded. I look forward to working with Cloud Signings again.

There are 50+ threads about the longstanding NON-PAYMENT status for invoices on this particular business entity found within the Notary Cafe database.

Oftentimes a non-paying business entity will hire a subcontractor new to their organization and pay promptly for the initial 2 or 3 Signing Orders [3] . . . then, the payment chasing begins . . .

Thank you kindly for the warning about this company. I appreciate your concern and you are correct that there are many grievances concerning non-payment from this company.

It is common for people who have been wronged to post their complaints. I appreciate their warnings.

It is uncommon for someone to post when something goes right. That is the purpose of my post. I hope that Cloud Signings LLC will read the posts on this site. (I told them I would be posting about them here.)

It’s implicitly understood that each business owner must make their own determination & decision.

As a business owner, the onus is upon you to employ discernment, to vet your potential clients prior to providing your professional services to them, and to perform your own due diligence before providing an ‘interest-free loan:disappointed_face: to your client(s).

There are many that have posted positive reviews (similar to yours) that herald the prompt payment > > > only to discover that a few months into the future they’re not the exception to the rule & are snared into the trap . . .

They too are involved in the ever-elusive chasing payment gambit with this business entity.

Most learn vicariously without placing their own finances at-risk.

Just an FYI for everyone, I just received this message from Cloud Signings, with regard to payment for a signing that I peformed three months ago:

Thank you for your message.

Cloud Signings LLC has ceased operations and is not accepting new assignments. The company is in the process of an orderly wind-down and is reviewing legacy matters related to prior services.

Please note that response times may be limited during this process.

That’s WONDERFUL news! I’m sorry for all those notaries left without payment. However, they were left without payment whether Cloud Signings remained in business or closed shop. Now that Cloud is ceasing operations, that’s one less non-paying company we have to beware of.

Hopefully, just hopefully, they pay everyone before their final bow. “Hope springs eternal.”

At this point, Cloud Signings owes me a total of $300.00. I suspect I will never see the funds owed. Never, ever will accept another signing from this scam company.

This company has changed its name, if I were you I would be very careful they do not have a good rep. /Mortgage Connect closings

No they have not. Two different companies.

OMG, I have been trying to contact this company about nonpayment. Any number I have for them on the order has been disconnect.

You must have caught someone on a good day. That’s the only feasible explanation.

Cloud Signings owe me for 8 invoices. I have been trying to get paid for 3 mths. I received a generic email from them that they have ceased business and no longer open for business.

You’re wrong about that. An earlier post by a notary who got screwed alerted everybody in the forum about the name change.

@Jerrykryska1 – For clarification, please read the entire thread: WARNING Mortgage Connect Closings was Cloud Signings - PSAs and News - Notary Cafe Forums

OMG I did a bunch of closings for them back in December and I was wondering why I had not received a payment yet. I am going to contact the title company; I am owed a lot of money from them. Thank you for the update!

At least you got an email. I learned about them closing through here. My $1,300 is still floating.

I only received that email after going to their website and sending invoices to any and all email addresses I could find. I also sent an email to title making them aware of the situation. I know that’s not typically how we are supposed to do things, but they paid Cloud well over what I was contracted for, so I figured they should at least be apprised of the situation.

I’m 6 emails and countless invoices deep. I’m not sure what the magic number is to get the “we’re closed & you’re screwed” email.

Wow! This is completely insane to me! I’m so sorry.
