Cohesion signing service late payment

I did it Signing for cohesion on November 16. I was told that payment for any job would happen on the 31st of the next month. Today is the 31st and I haven’t been paid. I just realized that if I did a signing on the first of the month, I wouldn’t be paid for 60 days. Not taking anymore of their signings.

Did one September 14 got paid Oct 24. I’ll take their order again.

Glad you did. I’m still waiting. 46 days. They were pretty specific about paying at end of month. And I had to contact them several times. We shouldn’t have to chase after companies to get paid. I won’t take any more orders from them. Not worth it, and they’re not high payers.

Myshadowmax: You initially posted they said payment would happen on 31st of following month. That would make it Dec. 31st in your case. Did they mean that payment would be generated 12/31st and then mailed out? Did they mean they would send you an e-check on 12/31st? Did they work on 12/31st? Were they supposed to initiate a direct deposit on 12/31st? Unfortunately, in your case, you may have to allow another couple of days due to the holiday. Did you attempt to contact them yesterday, 12/31st regarding payment? Please let us know if you receive payment by end of this week.

Finally, after emails and messages, I finally got paid this afternoon. 46 days. Too long. Almost all my services pay me between 15 and 38 days. I shouldn’t have to chase after my money. Escrow told me they were paid a month ago… Not going to accept any more signings from them. Don’t need the aggravation.

@Myshadowmax Congrats :tada: Admire your tenacity! Again, appreciate you sharing the details of your direct experience. It’s quite helpful to others.

Of note, the Owner/President (Glen Brown) of this business entity demonstrates that this slooooow/non-payment “technique” has been his modus operandi (MO) for many years (located data as far back as 2017, but may be further back than that . . .).

Regarding the other posts within the Notary Cafe forum on this business entity, see my post above.

Also, concur :100: percent with your evaluation:

You may want to consider an Edit of the thread title to possibly one of the following:

“WARNING: Cohesion signing service late payment”
“CAUTION: Cohesion signing service late payment”
“AVOID: Cohesion signing service late payment”

Etc.
