Many of us have experienced difficulties with SS where we haven’t been paid or where we cannot reach them by telephone or other means when problems arise with our signing assignments. I have personally adopted the practice of calling any signing service at the time I sign up with them to confirm that I can reach someone when I need to and to confirm their payment commitments. It only takes a minute and I get to start building my relationship with them by being friendly, inquisitive and professional.
