CX The Closing Exchange

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone do signings for this company? I get notifications and they start at $65 I counter at my fee and then I receive a notification the closing is no longer available, a few minutes later is comes in at $75 again I counter at my fee and I get the notification it is no longer available, a few minutes later it comes in at $85 and on it goes till it gets to $95.
Their app doesn’t work half the time very frustrating. Why do they do that? So many games with us notaries!

They were not always like this, I use to love doing closings for them but lately they have been low balling notaries- requesting $65 for reverse mortgages- scan backs, etc. With the increased prices on gas it’s really hard to depend on them for work. However, they do pay at 30 days of closing.

All their signings start at $65. No way $65 for a reverse mortgage! I won’t do reversed mortgages to time-consuming even at $200 to $300 not worth the time spent when you can do a couple of refi’s less time and you can make more $$$. Thank you for your reply.

I get a lot from them. I just did my very first signing yesterday. They do always come in around $75, which I think is too low, especially when the appointments are 30 mins to an hour away.

I struggle with this company as well when I try to respond whether it be to just accept the order or counter, my responses rarely seem to go through. Then it gets marked as missed on their site. I’ve contacted them thinking it may be a technical error, they told me it’s because the assignment has already been assigned to another notary. I have issues with my responses freezing or just not going through. I’ve been with them for over a month now and still have not been able to actually have a signing accepted yet. Not sure what to do at this point if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

When I contacted them about the same situation that was the response I too received. I was not satisfied with the response because how can all the other signing services not have that problem with a signing being accepted. I asked to be transferred to technical assistance and they told me they are in BETA testing that’s why these signings go into the loop and you don’t get the opportunity to accept, counter, or reject. They recommended calling in and asking if there are any available signings in my area.

I noticed I only have issues with them receiving my responses through my phone, not if I’m responding directly through my computer. I use an android, I’m wondering if the type of phone might be the culprit. Android to IPhone maybe? I also do get the issue from time to time where you’ll counter, it will show as not available and then they’ll send out another offer at a higher price, I’ll counter my same offer, it’ll show as not available and then they’ll send the offer again with a raised price again and this continues on and on. I’ve come to accept there’s a system glitch and I have yet to actually land a signing after pages of offers. Hopefully something will land eventually. I can’t depend on my phone sadly through them.

I did my first signing for them today. it was a purchase, offered it to me for $90. because it was my first one, I accepted it without a counter. 90 isn’t bad, but I would’ve preferred at least 100 so I’ll counter next time if this first one closes well.

Great, I hope you get much, more!!! I do RON Loan Signing with them and love it, the reason for me to do RON is I don’t want to drive, no traffic for me, I remember last time that I drove for a signing took be back and forth almost 4 hours because of the traffic, after that I decided I work from home.

i WISH i could do RONS. my state doesnt allow it :frowning: it seems so much easier to handle

Yes! Ron It is a lot easier and you don’t waist so much money in paper ink, travel, traffic, etc.

May I ask - if the situation comes up - how do you get around the “brick and mortar” requirements for cash-outs?

Depend of the State Texas HELOC, and Cash out both you do them, at the attorney, lender or title office, and usually they have their own notaries.

First I want to say that I would never take their closing due to insulting low fees but I signed up as their RON notary, I did their training today, read their scripting for before, during and after their RON closing. I have concluded that it will have to be a good buy for me. Based on their scripting for confirmation process for ron signing before, during and after $40 will not be practical for me to do. According to their policies, I have to spent time to do the backroom duties like contact the customer basically walk them through the technical process of pre-qualifying their internet speed, audio and video device, etc. to make sure they are working properly, these kind of duties supposed to be prequalified by their RON team to make sure their client passed RON required equipments test, devices, internet speed etc before the RON order is ready to be assigned to me. My job as a ron notary is to login, verify ID, witness the client sign, notarize online and I’m done that’s why I’m ok with $65 doing for another co. and I get paid full fee if signing not complete due to technical errors. From what I gathered with CX I don’t believe they will pay if I spent an hr helping their ron client if signing not compete if there were technical errors. I believe I have to go meet them again in person to get paid which would be working at a loss. After a careful assessment of their RON closing procedures, I have concluded that their process is not savvy and their RON fee will not work for me and I cannot be a part of it. I thank you for inviting me to sign up with them. But I will deactivate my account tomorrow!

Sorry I deactivated my account mainly due to their fees policy.

Hello, is there a good amount of RON signings through this platform? Are they hard to get?

@llangston_seymour please read the post by @VIPnotaryCO a couple above yours here. IMO (and hers) the fee they offer for the amount of work you have to put in is not worth it with this provider. - unless the fee can be negotiated upward a bit

That’s JMO - no personal experience here

I appreciate your feedback, but that didn’t answer my question. As a RON, I’m aware of the scripts and technical difficulties that may occur.
