Has anyone worked for TheBestNotary.net?

I did an I-9 signing for TheBestNotary.net on December 3, 2024 and have not been paid yet.
Has anyone taken an order from them and what was your experience?

Reviews on other notary forums show TheBestNotary.net has a history of low/slow/no pay since at least 2013.

Don’t give up. Keep hounding them. Make a pest of yourself until you get paid.

Always, always vet the hiring company that you are extending credit to.

@LindaMorin Bad news on this one . . . History of NON-PAYMENT.

Our apologies @LindaMorin that it took a while to settle your payment. We are working on rebuilding trust and making amends.

I recently got an offer from “Above Average Signing Services.” That was the name in the order instructions. It was just about the only words that were spelled correctly. The grammar was atrocious, and the threats to reduce or not pay if the instructions were not followed exactly were more than alarming. Needless to say, I didn’t respond. But I kept their name. A second one also came through from a different company. The grammar wasn’t so bad but the threats were. Sorry, I don’t have the name of that one as I didn’t feel obligated to dignify them with a response or my time. We are professionals, and we don’t need to grovel to use our expertise. Notaries provide a vital service to industries and communities.

With 28 years of Mobile Notary experience, I consider myself the best Mobile Notary in my service area. So with that thought in mind, my most recent experience with them has been good. They booked the appointment for me and paid me my normal fee for a one-signature general notary assignment one mile from my office. And, I received an e-check from them three days later. I’ll take all the assignments they want to toss my way.
