How much to charge

I recently received a loan signing for a seller and buyer complete loan package, but Ive never done them together, can anyone please advise me on whats a reasonable price. A fellow notary told me personally 250.00, is that reasonable?

I still haven’t done buyer and seller, but it seems reasonable since is twice the work.

I am in Florida, I charged my first client exactly that amount. It is a reasonable amount. Remember your cost for ink and paper as well as for travel.

I agree - you should be paid two fees - your standard loan signing fee for the buyers and your fee for signing a seller package - as long as they’re in the same place you MAY discount for less travel but that’s up to you.

My procedure in these Buyer/Seller same-time signings - I sign the Sellers first, then thank them, give them their copies and excuse them, then sign the buyer’s loan package - the buyers’ financial transaction is not the Seller’s business and IMO they should not be present.

I always learn something new from you, Linda

How do you get them to pay the fee you are worth? I regularly get the requests for $85 and just a few minutes ago one wanted $50 for HELOC 45 minutes away. I turn them down only to find someone accepted lower than my counter.
