Congratulations JOT is top notch in this industry with the way they treat their notaries. They pay ok but you can counter offer by clicking on the 3 dots in the request. Ived countered majority of the time I get the fee . However, one thing I’ve noticed, is last minute signing requests which can be somewhat un-realistic. Hapened to me yesterday. I accepted an assignment which came through as a text message, I was driving and noticed it was for 10am. This was at 9:15am, turns out the signing was literally in 45 minutes and I had to get back to my computer to print and drive for 30minutes, I explained this to the signer when I called to confirm he seemed a little bothered but we agreed to meet at 10:30 instead. The escrow officer called me immediately to “scold” me about “I wish you would have called me 1st to change the time, notaries always to this” I told her she could re-assign if she wanted to but re-assured her I can do the signing at 10:30 since it was such a short notice and I live in a different town, than where the signing is. she said thank you and hung up. So that’s how it goes sometimes so be prepared.
JOT is the plattform for First American.
You do 100 notarizations.
Old Republic is pretty conservative money wise and I rarely get what I want from them. They are dealing with a lot of newbies or folks who just dont pay attention to their instructions since they offer so little money and pound you with emails, cautions and threats of docking your fees.
That is fantastic. Congratulations
Once you get established with Old Republic that’s not really the case. In my experience.
I used to get $150 from Old Republic when they went through Snapdocs. Now, they offer $95 and “maybe” you can get them up to $115. Very disappointing to say the least.
@roblinked5 @steves11 In my direct experience, it mirrors that as stated in the excerpt above & by steves11
(previously received direct orders from Old Republic Title that paid a reasonable Fee, but no longer do so . . .)
As I often express, in general, results can be quite disparate contingent upon location, Location, LOCATION . . .

LMAO!!! Yeah, after 100, you’re off to the races….when i hit, i’ve been turning jobs down and they still give it to me!!!![]()
I don’t have that problem with OR…since working with them, they always want me to work about 1hr outside of my area, so they already know that i won’t accept if it is under $100, so usually I can get between $100-150 depending the ask (that’s without witnesses)![]()
Feels kind of like applying for your first job out of school. Everyone wants experience, but no one is willing to give it to you.
In my area they start at $105. I’ve been paid up to $200 by ORT so as Csna says it’s all about location.
Of course, they want experience, but they’re not willing to pay for it. A newbie or a 15 year veteran…all the same to them.
Just write them or google fass.notary.com
It will come up..
JOT REPLACED MOST OF THE WORK in my area.
I also got direct work from Texas And California.
I didnt keep the numbers
