I went through the sign-on process and got to the point of acquiring the Digital Certificate and that is where it stopped. The link they give to to get your Digital Certificate leads you to Identrust but they say Proof is no longer on their list. Now what?
I obtained a personal certificate from Identrust (it has since expired). I needed some technical support and they were very helpful. Maybe you should call Identrust and ask why Proof / Notarize isn’t listed.
I did and they said they were trying to set up their own digital certificate.
What a clusterfluff!
I spoke to another RON vendor & I was told PROOF is no longer in business.
Their website is still active.
Yes, their website is still active, but they are no longer listed on Inentrust. And there is no information on pricing. Also, one list said it was reported closed. I guess once their web hosting expires & no one pays the bill it will gone also.
@alnmurray Thank You for sharing your direct experience.
It looks like they just did a poor job of redirecting readers from notarize.com to their new website, proof.com.
You can always get your own Digital Certificate from IdenTrust and use it on Notarize with Proof platform. I have been with Notarize for over 4 years and have used IdenTrust from the beginning for working on that platform, as well as other platforms I have tried out and used.
I just uploaded my new Identrust digital certificate to Proof about a week ago. No issues and it passed compliance.
I’m with Proof as we speak and they set me up with their own digital certificate FREE!
It was a pain in A and had to go back and forth with support for about a month before they finally got it figured out, but hey now i’m with them and i pay absolutely no subscription costs and i only pay $10 a transaction +$3 extra seals
